boy you done changed up the profile picture
I don't even remember what I had but sometimes I get a lil carried away. Lol. It's funny seeing the things people think quan did. The rentals between him and Jermaine & young was just stupid. Few other dudes involved too but I don't even remember all the names. But what got him kicked out and what he got arrested for, most people would've murdered buddy over. I know I would've...

IIRC, AQM had beef with his roommate because his roommate put hands on his son, and I think AQM might have beat that dude's ***, which led to AQM being suspended for a year. If this is the same son, he is like 12-13 years old.

Wasn't the roommate some lacrosse playing son of a UM booster?
I recall reading this at the time with the implication this was the main reason
he was kicked out of the program.
I went to school with my share of lacrosse players at the UofMD, many of them local or from Long Island, a handful of them who would have merited a beatdown too (hypothetically speaking, of course).

Admin needs to take some blame here. I know the coaches had his back.

Nah. His roommate was some lil peon. Didn't even go to school anymore. You're thinking of Eddie. He got kicked out cause he beat up 3 lacrosse dudes in hect parking lot. One of em his father had pull on board and got him kicked out.

Wait, from the Golden era?

That era proved more than anything just because you recruit good talent on defense doesn't mean it will be good.
Golden recruited good players to the wrong scheme. Manny recruited bad players to the right scheme.

When Manny coached Golden’s players (2016-2018), we played really good defense.

Golden had an eye for talent and won recruiting battles with his hand tied behind his back. My belief is he was so bitter for UM lying to him that he let his boy steal a pay check while he figured out his exit plan. he's better where he is.

I've been regularly on campus since 2010 or so and I bump into players all the time. To this day, still one of the most physically imposing players I've ever seen. Looked NFL ready day 1. Glad he carved out a little role in the NFL for himself.
Same but Olivier Vernon was the most NFL ready from who I saw

He hit on some, but go through his classes again. There’s be 3-4 nice evals and the rest are all unplayable

Funny you mention him because if I had to do a list, he'd be on it too.

I still remember once literally strolling (or sneaking in, depending on how you want to phrase it) to Greentree during a closed scrimmage. No one looked twice while I literally stood on the sideline like I belonged. Anyways, even from my dummy point of view, the sound of the collisions when Vernon (who was a true FR at the time) hit OL vs. what it sounded like with other DEs was jarring and noticeable. Remember it vividly to this day.

Massive pause but the sight of Vernon walking around with his backpack and slides, on the way to class was hilarious. He was a huge human, even stacked against other D1 athletes. Good NFL career and made some good money. Was probably unlucky to not make a few pro bowls
