I am so worried we will lose him he looks better in a red tie .I heard red is his favorite color

This is the problem. We still have a few fans out there that can't see the forest for the trees. We are going to be stacking National Title trophies on top of our pillars if we can just hold on to the gem that is Al Golden.

What an irony it would be if Nebraska caused us the ultimate heartbreak of stealing our savior, after we have ripped out their heart and crushed it so many times since Jan. 1, 1984.
 
I can see Al Golden becoming the next Dr. Tom Osborne at Nebraska. This would be a huge hire for Shawn Eichhorst.
 
If it's recruiting that Nebraska wants, then they have their man, the guy is so dedicated to recruiting that he refuses to win a Division so he can get a week head start on the competition. Then he follows that up with doing absolutely no preparation for the bowl game in order to stay on top. When we get crushed in the bowl game, he can spin it as there being plenty of room available for freshman to make an impact next season. Never mind that he sabotages his own efforts every year by keeping his buddy and not de-fusing speculation on job offers, that's just part of the process as it allows him to get on the waiver wire for no-name, no star recruits from around the nation.
 
Figure we were one or two years away from title #7*, **** it Nebraska, why'd you have to go and steal Golden from us?


I know, I know, corn grows upward, Golden's pillars go upward, it's a great fit. Godspeed coach Golden, you're the hero Miami needs, but not the one it needs right now.

His family will love it up there, only hot a short time of the year and plenty of corn for shade - who could ask for more? + no traffic to speak of. Lucky Al!

Nebraska always had some great players from NJ during Dr. Tom's tenure including Mike Rozier and Irving Fryer. No one recruits NJ better than Al. This makes so much sense for Nebraska, it's basically a no-brainer.

Nebraska's brand is strong like UM, Alabama, Oklahoma, USC, Michigan and ND. Lincoln is a great place to raise kids, and they've sold out every game since 1962. Add to that the fact that you'll never see guys like Dave Rimington or Johnny Rodgers criticizing Coach Golden, and it is a no-brainer for Coach Golden.

Make this happen, fellas.
 
Only Clouds to worry about there are filled with snow...Miss you already Al..Can't believe you would take most of this outstanding staff with you....
