Al Golden appreciation thread

My biggest fear is if we lose him, that wall be built around south Florida might crumble.

Uh oh..............twitter rumor out there says that Jethro franklin and Paul Williams are headed to Nebraska. That would kill our 2015 class. We would lose all of our DT and CB commits!
 
Al Golden was pulling top 15 recruiting classes at a school with no stadium and no fans. He'll probably be cleaning up nation wide with big red nation behind him. Kids love packed stadiums and on campus stadiums. Check and check. My guess is FSU and UF will be shut out of South Florida as well, as it becomes "Lincoln South".

We will miss you Al but understand. You got us to the shore, we will try to make it from here. Go, enjoy the fruits of your labor. Nebraska is perfect. We owe them so much. Three times we won NCs playing them. They deserve you. Go, have fun.

Leave it to our admin to not realize when we have something good and lock Golden down so Nebraska can't steal him.

Welp if they have Golden we can mark that game off as a loss next year and not sure how we can beat UVA without him.

We are screwed.
 
Man, just when Miami's School of Business was going to finally get him as a guest lecturer...He has been so busy in the off-season wowing the MBA classes at Harvard Business School, Wharton, and Stanford with his leadership and teambuilding presentations. From all accounts, the cream of our future business leadership crop have been blown away by his concepts of the pillars of success, deserving victory, brick by brick team building and following "The Process." Unfortunately for UMiami's business school, the gracious Coach Golden, who had committed to lecturing on campus this next semester, appears to be talking is tremendous talents to Lincoln. The only silver lining we can use to help in our grieving process is to know that Warren Buffett can now attend one of Coach Golden's lectures at Nebraska and learn great strategies which will help him grow his company to even greater heights!

Pillars process and ties, if Al takes mark d, Paul w, and Jethro f, to nebraska with him it will definitely be unbelievable for um...
 
Al will bring a ton of leftover bricks with him....gotta protect that Souf Nebraska talent.
 
Yeah, all the players would probably transfer. They all love Golden, he would never hit a player like Pelini did. Remember when Lewis broke his ankle and Al stayed right there with him? That's a great guy right there, recruits would follow him to Nebraska like mad.

Golden will offer some of the best 2 and 3 star recruits from New Jersey at camps and develop them into first round picks in 3 years. Great evaluator of talent, i would say he comparable to Butch Davis in this regard. My goodness we will miss him and the New Jersey pipeline.
 
Hopefully it is written in his contract that even if he goes, the pillars stay! I will miss all of the noisy Spring interviews and trending we did in his tenure.

If they trust the process.. I could even see them winning their division one day. Golden gets it done there with no cloud.
