Ahmmon Richards commits (2016)

I don't know about you guys, but I think it's time for more *** celebration gifs. Richards looks like a terrific player and should be a great addition regardless of whether he ends up at FS (my preference) or WR.

Welcome to the :neonu:!

If the commits were more spread out, people would be *****ing, saying we need more receivers and more d-line and more backers
If the commits were all defensive commits, people would ***** and say we need more offensive commits

IT'S JULY TWENTY ******* SECOND IN TWO THOUSAND AND ****** FOURTEEN!!!!

National Signing Day for this class IS IN FEBRUARY OF TWO THOUSAND AND ******* SIXTEEN!!!!

STFU and GTFO with that mope ****

We got ANOTHER stud. Be happy for a change fools.

We're not an I formation two WR team either. If our WRs don't get banged up like they did last year you'll likely see 3-4 sets a great deal.

We do run a lot of 2 TE and I-Form (RB and FB) though.

We don't have a true full back on the roster now. Not a scholarship one. Oklahoma is a team that kinda mirrors what we do in terms of formation variability. They'll spread it out and then bring in two TEs. They've got 15+ WRs on their roster and at least 12 are on scholarship. They're probably gonna add more over the next two years too.

I think Tucker will be playing FB. It would not shock me to see Edwards there as well. Finally we have CROW (yeah!!!!!) at H-Back so he will probably line up in the backfield too. I could also see Herndon coming out of the backfield but ignoring that.

As for total WRs on scholarship. It depends on a lot of things:

1. Are there sanctions?

2. Are some of those WRs potential TEs or something else (WR moving to DB)?

3. What type of formations do you run mostly?

I think 12 (assuming no sanctions) is about as many as I (just MO) would like since we run a lot of 2 TE sets. Some WRs play STs as well. That is me and it doesn't matter what I like because I AM STUPID!

Having seven 4*WR commits 1 week before NSD 2016 would be a problem. Having them right now is ALL GOOD!!!

WELCOME TO THE U X 7!!!!!

There will be plenty of defections prior to signing day 2016. Wasn't Travis Rudolph one of our first 2014 commits a couple years ago?

Ut Ohhhh! I told my boy that the sign we back would be when we start getting top players from Tampa and Palm Beach. We had 2 defect last year, rudolph and Urbie believer, but now we got Perry and this kid. Its a sign our influence heading N I-95. Plus being able to snag the 2 best LB's from Jville! When Golden can sell a winning program with the attractive attributes of Location and Activities! We'll have top recruits calling us to commit before being offered.

The ignore user button works very well especially for the same 4-5 mopes that do nothing but ***** and complain. Its the same ones that complain about not going after SFL kids...then its too many at the same position...cause we should of told these kids we are not interested right now..the mopes would want the U to tell the kids wait 8-10 months and we will talk about it but yet the mopes would be the ones complaining that we didnt offer early enough in 8-10 months....

You're talking about the class of 2016, right? This fan base is un****inbelievable.

No, just in general.

What is un****inbelievable? Am I wrong? Are the only 2 positiosn WR and QB? Oh my bad.

You are losing credibility with complaints about 2016. There is soooooooooooo much to legitimately complaint about that to do so about what is clearly shaping up into perhaps our greatest recruiting class in 15 years is giving you that ex-wife sound. Coaching is sad, 2015 has serious issues, we missed some studs in 2013, all are legit, but crying about a Bama level 2016 -- so far- class is sad and below your norm.

Imagine if some of these kids were from out of state? It would be even worse.

Love his film. The 2016 class looks incredible so far.

I think everyone would agree on this. We just would like to see OTHER POSITIONS as well.

I agree, but it's 2014. The 2015 class has its own major issues. For right now, I'm more than content with getting a bunch of highly-ranked local kids to commit early so hopefully they can make it cool to play for UM again, and get other kids to commit throughout the recruiting process. Good players like playing with other good players.

You can't say you want us to focus more on other positions until at least the 2015 NSD passes up. You do understand not that many kids commit 2 years before their NSD. And it will be incredibly hard to keep all these guys in the long run. So While we already have this many commits, and you would like to see a DT (Everyone would by the way), it really doesn't matter until it is the true 2016 recruiting cycle. SO you need to be happy we are getting so stacked right now, instead of posting stupid comments. I mean you act like the coaches are not taking the commitment of guys like Shavar Manuel, Trayvon Mullen, Rashan Gary.. and instead are only taking WR commits.
