There exceptions , I’m sure a guy has decommitted because he’s mad a staff leaked it, but I think it’s an extremely low number. Very low.

My only point is I don’t want to be the reason the moment is blown. Let the other guys do that.

I’ve been posting things for two years , stuff that hadn’t even be posted or reported anywhere at that moment. Nobody cared , only posters here. Obviously they do now. Like I said “ I’ll just be more conservative” but I make nothing from this, I have no social media, podcasts or you tube channels . Nada. I’ll be just fine.

Do we have a realistic chance of getting Leonard Taylor or James Williams? – Austin P.

Former Hurricane Kelvin Harris and I talked about this on the Wide Right podcast about six hours before Williams shocked the world and said he was committing to the Hurricanes and not Georgia (even though Harris said he would be a better fit for the Bulldogs at outside linebacker because of their scheme).

The answer is yes and yes. I’ve reached out to folks at the Miami Palmetto football program where Taylor, a 6-5, 291-pound, five-star defensive tackle, plays, and came away feeling like the Hurricanes are the favorite to land him over Florida when he announces on Aug. 6. As for Williams, I have heard he is already recruiting hard for the Hurricanes and could help sway some other big-time national targets headed elsewhere.

All that said, it’s not even August yet. We haven’t seen a down of football played. The Hurricanes, for all of their recruiting success to this point, still have a season to play (we hope) and there’s plenty of time for other college programs, if and when campuses reopen for visitors, to make their in-person pitches to the talented recruits Miami has pledges from.

The early signing period is not until mid-December. There’s a lot of time between now and then.

The problem isn’t the info, imo, it’s what people do with it.

In light of the news being so incredible people have lost their minds. It’s a circus in every thread. Everyone wants to get closer to a source, then act like they know what’s going on. Some of you are even following my posts, and I don’t know anything. What the staff is doing isn’t about me, it isn’t about you, it’s about the program. Let them work.

I know most people want an escape right now, but it’s time to grow up a little. Celebrate when good things when they happen, just like the old days.

A few years ago I became casual friends with a former prominent BOT member who has since passed. He told me great stories, including a lot about a former coach who has quite a following here.

Always respected his right to say what he wanted without feeling the need to tell the world about it.

The overwhelming desire some on here have to be some kind of insider, no matter the consequences, makes me scratch my head.

in short we are not phucking tonight. Maybe to ease the pain of reading 10 pages of nonsense the threads should be called we phucking or we are not phucking and depending on the reader he or she can pick what they want to read. Jk- I think
 
There is also an obsession with knowing what’s going on every single day for every single recruit. It’s impossible to keep up with and it’s a losing proposition. Things change so quickly. People want to both appear knowledgeable to gain clout and feed their desire to be up to date

This is so true. Seems like people need an update every day about a recruit. These kids literally change their minds weekly and sometimes daily about how they're feeling schools. About 10 years ago when i was in high school one of my friends was a 5 star rb. He would talk about a different school every day. It was impossible to get a read on where he was going. He was a massive UF fan growing up and he ended up at clemson when they werent good. Tells you all you need to know about recruiting.

It’s like when your friend screws the hot chick that everyone has been trying to f***. And he decides to give you game on doing it yourself. And you run with the advice and start blabbering and pillow talking with everyone. Now she cut communication with you and him. Everyone loses, and that’s how we treat some of the people with actual insiders on here.

If everyone of us can come together, and agree to not act like recruiting virgins, overreacting to tidbits here and there. I promise you it’ll be more enjoyable when that big time recruit actually commits. Take what Cribby and folks say, chew the meat and spit out the bone and don’t blast it all over social media. It’s that simple.
 
247 USC insider predicted a decomitt any moment now. Fans are thinking it's Garcia. Not sure if real smoke.
