ACC Standings Through Week 9

This is why people who say the preseason rankings dont matter are dumb
No friend.

The powers that be will radically push up/drop teams near the end to shape the outcome that is desired.

I give you Notre Dame and Colorado as an example....

Big game. We win the right way, we move up to #4. Penn St. plays Ohio St.
3 vs 4.
We need to move up because IF we lose the ACC championship game, we stay in the top 12.
Remember though, the AP Poll doesn’t impact the CFP rankings. I’ve fully accepted we will be ranked probably like 8-10 in the initial CFP rankings. ESPN has already started planting those seeds.

No chance, If anything I see us higher than our ranking now.
I’d say a fair ranking is 5. Oregon, whoever wins between PSU vs OSU, UGA, and Texas being above us is fair. Us and Texas could be interchangeable but I am not upset if they are 4.

All I’m saying is, I wouldn’t be the least bit shocked if Tennessee, ND and TAMU are ahead of us in the initial CFP rankings. The SEC bias is real, and ND is ND.

Whether we like it or not the most important thing outside of winning the remainder of our games is style points.
National TV again this weekend we need to come out play well and look good. We can’t be sloppy and scrape by what most people consider mediocre teams.
We did what we were projected to do versus FSU and were rewarded for it. That needs to be the case from here on out.

Pretty irrelevant in the first one altho I do think we'll be around the 6-8 range.
More important..how many total sec/big teams of the 12..my guess is at least 8.

We need to win the next 4 games by more than TDs each. Can’t keep leaving room for error.

Not directly, but the Committee pays attention to the polls for sure.

Bro ND lost to NIU. A mid-tier MAC team that lost to Ball St.

There is ZERO chance they're ranked ahead of an undefeated Miami.
