ACC Conference Pride?

I tell you what ****es me off the most right now RE: the SEC.

This Florida renaissance talk.

To be clear, the Gators SUCK and are beating up on very flawed teams. Their roster is extremely flawed and I have no doubt if we played them again this weekend, the result would be exactly the same as it was week 1. They got lucky last week with some of the craziest sequences I've ever seen from Jaxson Dart, but if you've watched the Gators long enough, you know they get gifted these kind of inexplicable games once or twice a season.

We will be fileting that reptile at Hard Rock next season too.
What’s great is most likely they beat FSU and win a bowl game against some mid team. Then all we will hear all summer is how they are going to win the natty and curb stomp us until we put belt to *** again and they crawl back into the dirty swamp they came from.

I will definitely be rooting for Clemson and Georgia Tech this weekend.
The Clemson and South Carolina game is the biggest game in South Carolina. I despise Clemson and their religious zealot Dabo Weenie.
So no matter what, I am rooting for Carolina. And the way SC is playing it should be a great game and hopefully SC comes out on top!

I want South Carolina to dog walk Clemson. Can’t stand Dabo and Clemson fans

I know the “Just win” crowd will never agree but we should all be rooting for Clemson this week. If Miami, Clemson, and SMU all win, it will probably set a floor for the loser of the ACC championship. I don’t think they’d drop us or SMU below Clemson in that scenario, but they very well may drop one of us behind SCAR.

What kiffin did and what all SEC teams do makes sense. They are trying to keep this image of a superior conference alive because it boosts all of them from a revenue standpoint.

The reality is that an increased public perception and image will never help Miami in the rankings because the national media hates Miami. Getting a third team in the playoffs would give us a few extra bucks but when you compare that to the ridiculous disadvantage we are at due to our tv deal I think the final answer is simple.

**** every team that isn’t Miami. When rooting root for the team that creates the most chaos with a victory.

If you are a Canes fan, you want the ACC to get 3 bids. Very unlikely, but not impossible.

One or more of Tennessee, Indiana, Georgia and/or ND need to lose and Clemson, Miami and SMU need to win and look good.

This is something that the SEC has done and continues to do well. Their publicity train that they spew to the general public and media.

If other conferences did this as well as them we wouldn’t have 8-3 SEC teams in the top 25 and not 8-3 ACC teams.

They ride on the coattails of Alabama and Georgia and occasionally LSU.

Nobody wants to root for another school. Let alone our rivals in our conference. But imagine if we lifted each other up in public but hated in private. The stronger people think our conference is (like the sec) the higher our SOS, the higher our ranking, the less likely our losses hurt, the more chances to stumble and make the playoff.

If we need other schools to do us a favor then we didn’t do our job
This is such a ridiculous mindset. If Bama somehow sneaks in and wins 4 games all their fanbase is going to care about is they won a title.

We shouldn’t have to be perfect to have “done our job” while other schools get mulligan after mulligan. Rooting for schools that help your team is the same as rooting for your team.
