ACC changes to its championship game?

Thing is this would exclusively be a move to guarantee the ACC 2 spots basically. Entirely give up hope of having 3 spots pretty much if this ends up happening. I guess the 1v4, and 2v3 COULD result in 3 teams making it if the 1 team lost... I mean at that point why not just have the top 2 teams not play if they are ranked in the top 10, then have the 3 and 4 teams play and just label one of them ACC champs lol. There you just locked in 3 teams lol. I think the top at end of regular season being the Winner and then the 2nd and 3rd having a play in game does make the most sense from a scheduling point though... idk

Ok, suggesting 2nd and 3rd teams play in ACC championship game. How is this a championship game? Other than being significant revenue producers, conference championship games serve no purpose in this age of expanded playoffs.

not sure playing more games is the answer...
Playing more games means more chances for loses and moving all teams down for all bowls, not just the playoffs.

That's nutty. Needs to be Miami.
Or better yet - make it Tampa. Not a dome stadium like the other P4 conference title games, but you’d have great weather, a nice facility, and did I mention not freezing ur sack off sitting in a freezing cold BOA stadium.

The other member schools would cry foul if we “hosted” the conference title game at our home stadium - if in fact we made the ACCCG.
