I read your earlier post where you said he got “smoked” (as an observation, not as a put down) and … if Mallory, with 10.99 (legal) speed was 50 lbs lighter, I truly believe he would have run sub-13.90 - which is a full second faster. And, it would have been the fastest time in the state.

Go back and watch his junior year film where he absolutely ROASTS two P-5 DBs who were supposed to be great. The boy can play. I know some can’t see him anywhere but TE but there’s a bunch of us who believe he can be just as dangerous NOT playing TE. Dugans and Hartley will be fighting for him. LOL.
It was definitely just a literal observation, and not a put down, by any stretch of the imagination. I am a huge fan of Mallory, in which I started going to his high school games the moment he committed to us.

Even though he got "smoked" yesterday, I came away even more impressed with him. The dude has packed on some serious weight since the last time that I saw him in person. The fact that he ran a 10.99, with the added weight, is just freakish. I am 6'2 and he had me by at least 3 inches, and looked to be in the 225lbs area. I don't get caught up in the weight of players, but Mallory was definitely a little thin when I watched him over the past 1 1/2 years. The fact that he has put on some serious weight, without sacrificing his speed, is something to be excited about.

Mallory and Evidence are cut from the same cloth in terms of physique, which makes me certain that Njoku will eventually end up at TE and give us a crazy deep foursome of Mallory, Brevin, Evidence, and Hodges come 2019. But Evidence clearly doesn't have Mallory's world class speed. Mallory's blazing FAST.

FYI: During my conversation with Artie Burns yesterday, he said that Thomas was going to only run track during his freshman year at Miami, but will join the football team as a CB during his sophomore year, in addition to running track.

I love the fact he never broke form.

Mallory will be a weapon - I personally don't want him any heavier than 235ish here (as an upperclassman.) Flex him out wide, get him in the backfield, **** use him on some end arounds... But most importantly send him up the seam and let a LB try to run with him.

Schwartz is crazy playing football, he could be the next world class sprinter from America. He is almost past the 10 second barrier.

I've been on that train for a long time. Get into peak track shape, look out. Wow

He will be 240 by the May next year

I think Schwartz's football career might mirror Marvin Bracy.

Let Mallory get however big he gets...either way he will always be a mismatch unless he gets on the Fat Al diet

wow that's one fast white boy....want to wish the :LBers great luck in trying to cover him....

I'd compare him to David Njoku more than to Evidence. Evidence is much thinner than Mallory and also than his older brother at the same age. And Mallory doesn't have those crazy long arms like Evidence.

Wefinally got a sprinter from Jamaica , who I believe transferred from Auburn. To bad he doesnt play football.
