A note on Ryan Mack

Not very kids gonna be a 5*, kid comes from a good program, has legit speed and room to grow. Need guys like this for depth and special teams and to possibly start down the road if they progress or are needed.

It just comes down to number as long as it’s only 1 of him a year and the rest blue chip were good
The problem becomes when u take too many depth pieces, u end up with a jag unit
after dline is locked up whatever money is left in the budget should go to Robinson

DP Jr and Pat Surtain Jr are real close last time i saw DP Jr he was with Pat2. These kids still work out together, chill,etc push themselves...its kind of why im higher on DP Jr than most on here.

I am pulling for DP JR., his dad was an awesome kid in college. Real good dude.

But honestly I don’t remember any mid level recruit that we took that actually helped us land a 5star before

I don’t. I always hear about local guys who have pull but typically we didn’t land those top guys who had the pull.

Maybe @DMoney can point at some success we have had locally by getting the leader in the area that helped land others. Duke Johnson was that guy but not sure who else in recent memory

It’s been a bit but my guess is he will remember the hockey player who loved the Canes in college. DP and Bevan Thomas would come to my parties and play NKOTB and Babyface. He may deny it but he knows it’s true. No idea where Bev is these days, we went to HS together.

Ryan Mack looks like a good prospect. If he weighed 190 instead of 175-ish Mack would be a 4 star and the fans would be excited. Not saying he has Robinson's upside ... but that doesn't make him a JAG IMO.
