A moment of honesty

I'm undecided which is more ghey. Posts like this or posts by eunuchs that have never met a kid and have zero connections to a kid but rush to be the first to wish him the best of luck and proclaim that "he made the right decision for him" as he bolts South Florida for another program. I'm thinking they might be the same type of person posting these things so I might have to deem it a tie.

These people walk among us. We pay no attention to them until they 3-point-turn-it on I-75 with their tricked out Civic because they missed the exit for Hardee's.

A facqit is a facqit. Does it matter if they swallow or spit? At the relevant moment, they both have weeners wedged in their eso****eal region.

Of course we have to win. Were people actually expecting a top five recruiting class this year????? Richt can actually coach. The recruiting success will come WHEN he proves we are ascending, and when he has had a whole recruiting cycle to sell his vision of a modern UM powerhouse. He was never going to close with a bunch of four and five star kids with only about two months to convince those kids.

Guys, we aren't "The U" as we all know and love. The high level guys, and even the really good gems don't see Miami in that way right now. The only remedy for our recruiting woes is to go out and win games and show that it can be done here. Lets face it, bad coaching hires have gotten us to this point. Im hoping Richt can get this thing turned around.....we better hope we can get the top guys in 2017 and 2018 with winning big games.

While your post may have merit & you've hit on some good points. Wouldn't it be better suited for posting tomorrow night or Thursday morning? The 2016 class isn't even official. Everyone needs to take a deep breath.

Guys we have 10+ years of bad football, Donna did not want to invest any money but loved cashing the checks from ACC & Adidas
new president comes in and says Football is not something we do but part of who we are? Bang we sign Richt for 4M and allocate 3.5-4M
for staff.give the fact that Richt has been on board for 60 days were getting a lot of looks from talented players. 2017 will be a great year
for Recruiting. We will be well coached and we will develop players with new staff. will be interesting to see team that has an excellent staff
in action next year. thinking AQM & Chad become world class pass rushers.we have exited the dark era of Donna and our future is bright

When Butch took Damione Lewis out of Texas in '97 and DJ Williams out of California in 2000, we were a blip on the college football radar. No excuses.

Meh...I will give you Damione Lewis..he took a walk out on faith. DJ committed to a team that was preseason top 5 in the country going into the 2000 season. Everyone knew we were back by then.

I posed this in another thread. Has there been a newly hired coach with less then two months to recruit that was able to put together a top 10 recruiting class? That would be unprecedented to say the least. At this point, we are still looking at a top 15-20ish class. And we are extremely top heavy. There are some elite players in this class if we can get Byrd and Richards to come back on board. Program changing talent.

Not offended by your opinion and i prefer you being honest and negging than going along with me and blowing smoke cause I'm a parent of a now former recruit...makes me feel like I'm excepted member of the community...no body is above the law....back to the question at hand I agree that UM does not has the rep it once did.. an Offer from UM use to be da junk...we have fallen off...but i feel someday soon we will be back...as a matter of fact it has already begun...We get Byrd and AR15 and I am well pleased with this class...I know 2017 will be even better with a year to work.

Kiffin took the Job at USC in early January of 2012.

USC Team rankings: Rivals 8, 247 11(composite) or 9(247), ESPN 13, Scout 20. This class only had 15 recruits.

This guy lol
The same thing happened to Michigan last year when Harbaugh took over its too late to get certain players, next season we have a guaranteed top 10 class at worst.

For all intensive purposes, lets hope you are right. Im thinking we can get to a ACCCG this year, depending on how things play out....but we need to start winning to get the right talent in here

intents and purposes

Not a moment of honesty, a moment of surrender. F that!

I agree with that completely. I just think there are a few days in the year (and especially now in year 1 under a new regime) like the days before NSD and the day before the season opener that we should just suspend real talk and assessments of the flaws of the program. I'm not saying to be delusional in optimism but at least refrain from what the OP did with this thread. That said, if Byrd sticks and we get Richards then as you said it's a pleasing group and a good start. Problem is that although you and I both know that 2017 will be even better regardless -the doomsdayers will be ready to slit their wrists in between whiny posts on here if just one of those kids go elsewhere and even perhaps if we don't scoop a DT that wasn't even on our radar prior to the Richt hire.

I really want those guys... but I know 1 monkey don't stop the show. And I also feel come tomorrow we may not have what we want... but will have what we need to continue our rise.

If OP didn't know before this thread should confirm that posting an honest opinion will result in name calling and down votes by the children on this board. The same geniuses will rarely post anything substantial about Canes football. Honesty is not a concept they understand.
