At the end of the day we'd be better in the short term with Kiffin, but better in the long term with Cristobal.

There's no way the Columbus Crew would be backing the programme to the same degree with Kiffin in charge and there's no way we'd be sitting #4 overall in the recruiting rankings. Conversely there's no way we'd have gone 2 games without scoring a TD with Kiffin in charge too.

It is what it is.

Add the Soffers as well. Don't underestimate how much they contribute, and how Powerful they are.

This is pretty much 100% correct.

Mario was the best option for us because it got the checkbooks out. A better football coach might have been able to squeeze some decent seasons out of a decent roster but we’d never be able to compete with the big boys if the money wasn’t there.

Overrated coach that keeps getting opportunities after opportunities but looking at his record is not better than Mike Leach or Dan Mullen.

I get what you’re trying to say but maybe using overall career record isn’t the best measure considering Mario’s .500 career record
