4 losses? He lost 5 games. Stay with me.

Who said he should beat LSU every year? LSU wasn't great this year. A national title coach might be able to beat them, right?
 
"Miss st. Is a rivalry game. Can go either way any year. The same as miami vs fsu"

So if Ole Miss/Miss State is a rivalry game where anything can happen, meaning it's not a bad loss, these guys aren't going to ever criticize Mario for losing to Florida State.

If u meant something different, than my apologies, but if u’re making that in reference to me stating YOU CAN ARGUE W/ URSELF, then shame on u. I didn’t say chit about not positing anymore, I said I’m not going back & forth on the SC subject since I was actually there, in real time, so u can continue to argue w/ urself on that.

For some reason, he, like no other poster, has really dug his heels in to protect Lane Kiffin. Bizarre.

I'm serious.

I wouldn't judge anyone on their recruiting at Ole Miss. It's literally the last place one would want to go in the SEC along with Vandy and it's state rival Miss State. Going head to head against any other SEC school, they're supposed to lose that match-up. You could maybe throw S Carolina into the mix. He doesn't have the NIL we have or those other schools have either.

Still, he does alright there. He's made them competitive against schools he shouldn't be competitive against.

6 points away from beating Bama? Some solid wins there in his time. Doing more with less, etc.

You want him to eat those big dogs up though? ****, just being on the field and competitive shows he's doing something right. He's won some of those as well.

Nobody is saying he set the world on fire at the tail end of the season. Still finished with a respectable class and where one would expect Ole Miss to finish in the SEC. He's off to a good start in the transfer portal, but we won't count that will we? We only celebrate our portal victories.

As for winning titles, maybe he does here. We'll likely never know. I know he'd do more with less, he's shown he's that guy. He's beaten plenty of mediocre teams as you say in his tune there, but let's not mention that.

Lastly, if he was entertaining offers at the end of the season, can't we use that as an excuse. People were fond of that as Mario got taken to the woodshed twice by Utah, a vastly inferior team on paper. Truth be told, with what Mario had going on with his Mother, I give him a pass there.

Look, I'm not going to change your mind. I still would've taken him over Mario, but that's me. It's okay if you disagree.

Typical “are you dense” post. So expected around here. People can’t just disagree. So immature.

It took you a long time to really just write “we don’t really know how he would do at Miami”, since he hasn’t done anything spectacular at any stop.

It was the same with Leach. “What do you expect at the schools he’s been at?” Exactly…why has he been stuck at those schools?

These dudes act like Kiffin is some young up and coming coach that we need to snag.
