...and this is why so many people put an emphasis on the need for an indoor practice facility. this has to be equally frustrating for the players & the coaching staff

I've always been high on Owens. If he holds on to that black jersey, oh boy. Gotta be a stud to hold Grace off the lineup.

I remember Owens was killing it in the spring.

Him and Grace aren't playing The same Lb position.

That I know. But if anything. If Grace is better than Kirby. Sure they could get both on field. I would figure Grave to have black shirt before Owens. Or if the starters on the outside were to be Kirby and Grace. Sure they could move Kirby over to strong side.

Think only thing holding Grace back from being full time is just to bulk. Grace is a stud and brings us help at linebacker in pass coverage and the kids a missile. But I remember spence playing at same weight too. Just give me the best 2 out of Kirby, Grace and Owens and put em on the field.

I believe Owens has some experience in pass coverage too. I'm sure they could move Kirby to strongside if it was needed or needed to be done to get best on the field.

Who gives a ****? All these duplicate #'s are kinda lame to me anyways. And all these kids nowadays want to look pretty with low #'s. **** that. I like his mentality already. Go and make 32 memorable

I'm good if he lives up to tradition of 32. Some fairly good Canes wore that number.

I know, in the past, the Canes have used the Dolphins practice bubble when rain was a certainty and it was available. On days like today, when the rain chance is 50-50 or less, making plans to transport the whole team to Davie wouldn't make much sense. I hope we can get some type of IPF ASAP so these type of interruptions will no longer be an issue

Agreed Miller. Think first time we will really see the new jerseys in action is Labor Day. Reminds me of like when we didn't wear them for the spring game. Wouldn't understand why we would wear them for a scrimmage. But then again I could understand for U Day. If I'm correct we have a scrimmage on U Day.

holy **** stop with the team wearing new unis at practice....

They have black/orange reward jerseys, non contact jerseys, unjured but can run etc....NO TEAM wears game day **** at practice

Try to stay calm, #Canes twitter. Brad Kaaya running with the ones early today.

Best thing that can happen to the offense is Kaaya getting the start. Its almost like the idea in boxing or MMA where if your fighting the champion you need to really win the fight, if its close it goes to the champion. Not that Heaps is that good but with Goldens propensity to start upperclassmen if Kaaya can grab that starting spot then he really played well and earned it.
