STA has been smashing Dade teams for 30 years. BTW wins a single game at Traz by 4 points because of two bonehead plays and now STA ducks good Dade teams.

Dawg everyone knows st thomas avoids dade power houses at their peak you can look at examples of northwestern 2008, central in their peak years all the way till 2014 and so on.. Then st thomas want to turn around and play northwestern recently when yall know they are down as a program, yall even played booker t this year who was coming off like a 7-5 year... I wont be suprised if your school just avoid dade as a whole now

From 1985 (when STA joined the BCAA) through 2007, STA didn't play anybody during the regular season that wasn't in their district or a member of the BCAA.

I could just as accurately (and misleadingly) say that STA avoided Palm Beach or Hillsborough or Duval County powers.

What you are saying is a complete fabrication concocted by insecure Dade County cranks who want to make themselves feel better by attacking the bigger more accomplished program from Broward.

What would be the reaction if STA had knowingly cherry-picked just their best teams ever to selectively call out other programs for games? It's weak and the public nature of their supposed pleas makes it even worse.

This is the kind of thing that Dade people decry about STA but use to beat their chest regarding their teams.

BTW has transfers up and down their roster but it means nothing because STA has 'resources' that they don't have.

Nobody will address BTW's best receiver transferring from Jackson, best lineman transferring from Norland, etc.

You really wanted the 2008 Northwestern team to get smashed by one of STA's best ever teams?

2008-2010 STA would have smashed every single team in Dade County. Bar none.

Since 2011 they merely would've smashed most of them and been in some dog fights with others.

Central's peak years like 2010 when Central lost to Camden County and STA beat them by 14? Or when Central nearly lost to Cypress Bay and STA beat them by 46.

Like 2012 when Central lost to Manatee by 10 and STA beat them by 17?

Or like 2015 when Central beat BTW by 7 and STA beat them by 32?

Northwestern and BTW (and Columbus) were the only school's with the balls to accept the invitation.

Central has turned it down twice now.

Yeah. BTW's only top 10 in the country. How low of STA to schedule them in such a weak position.

Which is exactly what your Broward County crank brethren said in 2011 after Miramar beat STA by one play. That they wouldn't be surprise if STA dropped them after that.

Fast forward to 2015....

Eveyone knows st thomas runs away from the ELITE dade county teams throughout the years, im not saying st thomas cant beat them im just saying they choose for the most part not to even play them

One thing I think we can all agree on, regardless of what side you are on, is that STA should be winning every single game. And no matter how many times they beat a good dade team, it is instantly over shadowed by the once per 4 years that they don't.

So STA felt they had a win in 2016 against BTW that's why they scheduled them in December 2014?

If so then why didn't they schedule BTW the last time Earl Tillman took over in 2008? Those games would've been massacres.

Somehow your story doesn't add up.

STA has played a top Dade program in 4 of the last 5 years.

The one year they didn't (2014) they offered Central the game at Dolphins Stadium and they turned it down and played Stephenson (GA) instead.
