FWIW, Nebraska has always recruited So Cal. Last big name I remember from there was Lawrence Phillips (Baldwin Park). Never underestimate the impact of a kid from a place like Compton being drawn to a place like Lincoln if he's looking for something different. This doesn't necessarily apply to kids from a nice area like West Hills but there's still appealing due to being so different from home.

Coach Richt has stated he prefers to fill needs from local pool of talent. However, if the South Florida kids hesitate or start playing games, he has demonstrated a willingness to quickly move OOS.
