Holmes, who is ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 1 cornerback in the nation, says Hurricanes head coach Mark Richt wished him good luck before The Opening two weeks ago. Nebraska leads on the 247Sports Crystal Ball with Ohio State, Stanford, Arizona, Notre Dame, Michigan and Washington all involved. Pledger is pegged as the No. 12 running back in his class. He holds early offers from USC, Georgia, Ohio State and others. He said that he has had previous contact with Miami assistant coach Thomas Brown when he was at Georgia

The guy is from West Hills like Kaaya. That should help a little; however, USC usually is very tough beating to get LA private school kids

My thoughts exactly. Nebraska's putting together a pretty decent class, though. Keyshawn Johnson's son from the same spot is committed to them. Don't think anyone saw that one coming.

I think all the elite guys from Calabasas are committed. Tristian Gebbia is their QB and he's committed there

That's the connection, no way this kid signs with Nebraska though. There is a coach there at Nebraska now that coached Keyshawn when he was in college, that is the connection with Keyshawn Jr.
Won't be easy with this kid at all but I guess this is step one.

Lincoln is a cool college town with unbelievable support. When there for a Michigan nebraska game in 2012. (Fam played LB at Michigan plays for the Arizona Cardinals now) Aside from losing the game, Lincoln had a surprisingly nice environment. Not as country as I expected coming from Detroit. Fans packed the stadium and they showed all the Michigan fans love which was cool. They weren't hostile fans. Tailgating was amazing, even spent sometime on Campus at a frat house just walking by and some drunk college kid was like hey man come inside. Nothing but naked women, too much alcohol, and a outdoor hot tub in the freezing cold. (Never did that before but it was pretty cool) left my Lincoln weekend a happy man overall.

Would love to have kids like Holmes obviously. I'm telling yall boys Miami going to have kids out the woodworks with a great season. Dec-Feb is going to be recruiting heaven/**** for some schools.
