5-star Ohio State commit Chris Henry Jr. sets Miami visit

Been like this for a long time and good ole Nick was still bodying them on the trail at the time. They probably benefitted the most from his retirement
OSU always got a pass because they weren’t SEC

The way the treat football there is second to none and the NIL era helped them as much as anyone to match those SEC bags

Not that they weren’t doing it but remember they got nailed because Pryor made like $20 off an autograph 🤦🏼‍♂️

There's a chance with him. But you'd have to overpay.

Pacman Jones is his adopted parent and there's no loyalty to OSU or any other school for that matter.

They'll be open to top dollar which is why USC or Oregon are players should they decide they really want him (and pay him).

We can afford him, but unless it's the next Jeremiah Smith or someone, I don't see us breaking the bank for a HS WR.

Will we ever learn? Just give me a 3/4 star receiver from hometown 305 that wants to be a CANE, and let’s roll. Great if he drops OSU and commits to us, but not losing sleep over this kid. Go Canes!!

Go getter, I like it

I used to think the same around the Coker/Shannon era, but my thinking's changed. To me, the "local recruits are all we need" mentality just restricts your recruiting/team construction for no good reason. Of course, don't ignore it, but not at the detriment of getting the best players available regardless of geography. And I'd rather have my team take a chance and shoot their shot instead of meekly accepting defeat. It might not always pay off, but when it does, it's worth it IMO.

Not saying we get him, but he likes Miami. He lives with his Mother in Cali., not Pac Man and she is Poly. Keiki's, going to a pool party. Miami is determined to get a WR whale this class. I think they have to get Russell in my opinion. They are going to have to pay. Are they willing to pay 2? They are going all out in this class and it is going to cost them to get what they want.

Not questioning what you heard or know but this is something I won't believe until it happens. My 1 hope this cycle would be exactly this - we go out & do whatever it takes to land a wr whale.

If it came down to choosing the wr over 1 of the ol, would we do it? Hopefully that won't be an issue. Love that this would even be on their minds but early returns suggest a status quo re wr recruiting.
