They’re both going to the Big Dance anyway. This is Pollard giving a big middle finger to Rad.Duke routing FSU 9-4 in top of 4th

Weird how a guy who interviewed so poorly can win the ACC, we must have an amazing coach...They’re both going to the Big Dance anyway. This is Pollard giving a big middle finger to Rad.
I’ve been as critical of Rad as anyone on this board but to be fair, it wasn’t his fault. He wasn’t brought here to hire coaches. He’s a glorified contractor and fundraiser. Duke fought to keep Pollard. The guys with the money weren’t interested in paying top dollar. Rad doesn’t have the juice to override the Columbus Mafia. They’re both going to the Big Dance anyway. So, the NIL doesn’t apply for BB, accept to bring players to the table. Fact, 10% of D1 BB players get drafted to the majors. So, statistically it should be so for the Canes. Just saying that kids need to know and evaluate their draft status vs their NIL.There’s not a guy on this team that could go late, that coming back would improve their stock enough to justify coming back. They are what they are. You lose your leverage staying your final year and put yourself a year behind bc you’re still gonna have to grind in the minors.
Less than that. If you divided the 614 players drafted every year by the number of D1 players it’s only 5%. Then reduce that number by high school, JUCO, and other divisions taken in the draft. So, the NIL doesn’t apply for BB, accept to bring players to the table. Evaluating their draft stock vs NIL was exactly what I was doing. The goal is to make it to the show. Delaying that by a year and giving up your leverage, when you are not going to raise your stock much at all is a bad bet.So, the NIL doesn’t apply for BB, accept to bring players to the table. Where do you see them transferring to?I think they would given likely drafted low. NIL is going to play a key roll. Get their degree. Get paid. Try to get to Omaha. I don't think anyone wants to end their career with the 1st losing season in over 50 years.
Florida was never in doubt. On a side note. Duke got *&%$#@ on hosting a regional. ECU, VA, and OSU got regionals. Duke won the tournament and beat region hosts teams NC State and FSU. Looks like Florida is getting in. UN-believable
This pairing is bananas.Florida was never in doubt.
Kicker for Duke, if they win they have to go to Tally. Like a double kick in the nuts.
I think Duke will make it to Tallahassee. Oral Roberts is good enough to win the opener against Oklahoma, despite being a shadow of the 2023 team.Florida was never in doubt.

The word is Miami boosters are heavily committed to NIL in baseball. I'm expecting to keep all the current players we want and add proven production at pitcher, OF, and catcher.Where do you see them transferring to?
NIL will help keep low draft players in college. The other big factor is that last year MLB reduced the number of draft rounds to 20. There will be more talent in college baseball. The conversation on NILis that it would help keep the one and dones in school longer and kids anticipated to go low rounds, also. I realize BB is different, why would a kid spend a year in A/AA traveling by bus earning s**t, when he could stay in school and get decent nil $ and try to improve his draft.
