Kidnap Pollard and stuff him in the bus luggage compartment. Then lock JD in the hotel room until the plane takes off.
AD’s are overrated. At the end they are puppets of boosters money. The AD works for themRemember when people said Rad was going to be different from Flake James? Hiring unqualified people with connections- Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
No Bo Callahan? I mean he wasn’t even captain of his team.
Pretty obvious it was a sham of an interview.. the people that bankroll the baseball team had already had their man picked…I just find it ironic that the guy who didn’t interview well for our open position went 4-0 against us.
"record-setting head coach JD Arteaga will return as Hurricanes baseball skipper in 2025"
Hopefully they give him a large budget to work withPretty obvious it was a sham of an interview.. the people that bankroll the baseball team had already had their man picked…
I don't think Rafe is returning he is ranked pretty highly in the mock drafts I've seen.Would rafe and gonzalez return as Seniors? Doesn't seem too common but definitely wouldn't mind it
Of UM coaches in football, baseball, basketball, who have been hired “from within”?Hire from within and expect mediocrity. The Miami way.
Gino, CokerOf UM coaches in football, baseball, basketball, who have been hired “from within”?
Shannon, Diaz, and JD? Is that it?
Coker is a slightly different case due to the fact that he was a guy the players wanted and went to the administration and asked for. But he ultimately did do the team in in the long run just as much as Gino and Shannon and the othersGino, Coker
Look at the damage of those three..add in Uncle Fester and Gino. We are just creating the problems we have. These guys work in the existing system and cannot see beyond it. It not malicious on their part but is a systemic issue for us for sure.Of UM coaches in football, baseball, basketball, who have been hired “from within”?

I think they would given likely drafted low. NIL is going to play a key roll. Get their degree. Get paid. Try to get to Omaha. I don't think anyone wants to end their career with the 1st losing season in over 50 years.Would rafe and gonzalez return as Seniors? Doesn't seem too common but definitely wouldn't mind it

That's a fan's mindset. Although they'd rather not have the worst record since '57, the truth of the matter is they are majoring in baseball. If you are in medical school, you don't stick around to get another advanced degree because the school's ranking dropped the same year you graduated- you go be a doctor. These guys all want to play pro ball. Sticking around hurts their leverage.I think they would given likely drafted low. NIL is going to play a key roll. Get their degree. Get paid. The conversation on NILis that it would help keep the one and dones in school longer and kids anticipated to go low rounds, also. I realize BB is different, why would a kid spend a year in A/AA traveling by bus earning s**t, when he could stay in school and get decent nil $ and try to improve his draft.I think they would given likely drafted low. There’s not a guy on this team that could go late, that coming back would improve their stock enough to justify coming back. They are what they are. You lose your leverage staying your final year and put yourself a year behind bc you’re still gonna have to grind in the minors. The conversation on NILis that it would help keep the one and dones in school longer and kids anticipated to go low rounds, also. Maybe JD will develop them....There’s not a guy on this team that could go late, that coming back would improve their stock enough to justify coming back. They are what they are.
