4-star TE Zipperer feeling like a priority to the Canes

We are signing both of these kids, watch. Hopefully they can visit together to watch us stomp FSU and see Hard Rock at its peak. That on top of UF crawling to 7-5 this year should do it.

If im Hart in sitting Zip down no bull**** and im saying "we likes ya and we wants ya now you can succeed the easy way or fail the hard way the chose is yours" then drop the names of every tight end that we've made into a star starting from Bubba and ending with Herndon and see if this kid wants to be great
Tight ends more important that water? lolol

Good luck with that Gators!! Bags could not even save them.

Expecting some major Gator Tears coming.

For those of us who agree with the expression "follow the visits", this is joyous news. Just hope they don't string their decisions out to the end. If the season goes the way we expect, it may not matter, we may get em all in the end. But I hope we don't need to wait for that to reel them in.

Seems like that’s the way it will go with a lot of our top targets left. Is what it is, got to keep fighting on the trail

Lakeland (FL) 4-star TE Keon Zipperer has had the Miami Hurricanes near the top of his recruitment for a while now and the talented tight end prospect took some time to update how things are progressing with UM.

“Things with them are good,” Zipperer said on the Canes. “Miami’s been recruiting me hard, I do feel like a priority.”

Ace recruiter and Miami tight ends coach Todd Hartley has been in Zipperer’s ear about coming to Miami and the Lakeland product has been receptive to what Hartley has to say.

“I love coach Hartley,” Zipperer said. “He’s just a cool dude and like a father figure. He tells me I’m his number 1 guy and if I commit, he’ll stop everything at the position.”

What else about the Canes has Zipperer interesting in signing with the U?

“They had a big year this past season and they use the tight end a lot,” Zipperer said.

Besides Miami, it seems every top program in the country is coming after Zipperer hard and he listed out a few other schools that he talks with the most.

“I’ve been hearing from LSU a lot,” Zipperer said. “Also, Florida State, Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and North Carolina. I’m taking an official to Georgia, but no date yet.”

When it comes time to make his choice on Signing Day in February, Zipperer will simply be looking for the one place he feels most comfortable at and it appears surrounding environment will be a huge factor for the 6’2” 242 pounder.

“Signing day in February,” Zipperer said of his decision timetable. “I just want that school to feel like home. It’s just going to be a hard decision.”

We can get better people than this dude.
