If I were on another site, I'd feel like The U has just as good a shot as any other team. He was not dismissive and sounded positive.
Exactly! Some of them don't read between the lines.Fair enough. At some point, though, we have to acknowledge the truth. It is different here. Unless we out of the blue have a massive bag game, we’re not going to start picking up 6-7 blue chips on signing day that other schools led for up until a week before. Building our classes really is all about relationships and we need guys to be on board and be vocal about it, or else it becomes clear that they want illegal incentives that we can’t provide. When you read comments like what Zip just said, and don’t understand that there is a very low chance he is coming here given what he is “looking for in a school”, you either understand it or you don’t. There is no emotion here, it just is what it is.
Me neither.. and I know I'm gonna get negged for my opinionTorn here. His film doesn't really wow you.

I don't think he's going to be a Cane either. Just 2 days ago, SB Nation quotes him saying Alabama and Oklahoma are the finalists with Florida lurking.
I think he sees the talent here and doesn't want to sit for 2 years. However, competition would make him a better player. Isn't that what Saban sells?
We already talked about this on here. Bud Elliot wrote that post. If your not familiar with his history with Miami do some research.A quote from the article:
Zipperer doesn’t have a Top-5, but says that Alabama and Oklahoma will for sure be in it until the end for him.
“Those two schools, I know for sure they’re going to be hats on my table when I commit. I’m close with them.”
Zipperer says he already knows where he wants to go, but just isn’t saying it yet. Instead, he is “just making sure his gut is right” by taking more visits.
4-star tight end Keon Zipperer says Alabama, Oklahoma will be finalists
I'm as positive as anyone out there, but...

Zipp looks like a beast to me. He had the top SPARQ at the Orlando combine, he's produced at Lakeland and he loves to block.
If we want to play more power, a versatile athlete like Zipp fits right in.
Alabama just got a tight end commit (Jahleel Billingsley from Phillips in Chicago). They may try and go for two at that position but that could help Miami. Just wanted to throw that in there.
We have a 2 set TE offense. He has the talent to be 3rd in the rotation next year.

As long as they are getting kids that we arent going after and its helping us then I dont mind at all. Its nice that florida thought they had this guy also. Now when they come into our backyard with a helli and start stealing croots its a problem. Gonna need to drop a bag on an rpg to stop that bs
