When Tyrique Stevenson was asked in an interview who had the nicest facilities and campus he’s visited the first school that popped out of his mouth was Miami. UM has always had the most beautiful campus. You guys who haven’t been to campus think it was some rundown ghetto before Rick got here. We might not have had the garbage distractions that schools in the middle of nowhere like Clemson need, but we have always had an incredibly beautiful campus.

I’ve been to most of those other schools, clemson is boring for sure and definitely in the middle of nowhere.

My comment was based on people/media saying the campus environment wasn’t desirable or what have you. With the addition of the recent student center and continued construction of other new buildings the campus is truly transforming

That’s what you don’t get because you haven’t been there. It’s not the buildings that make UM’s campus magical. It’s a super beautiful campus.

Pretty sure he's saying it's an already beautiful campus but is somehow still improving due to new buildings like IPF and new dorms, not to mention certain renovations. The buildings are supplemental to the campus's natural draw. Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I interpreted it.

And? What’s that supposed to make me less of a fan? Come on now. All I’m saying is recruits are starting to take notice of all the improvements Miami is making and it’s starting to show.
 
If Searles lands Neal and/or Wright/Thomas, what is the perception of Searles after that? Clearly one of our better recruiters on the staff, no?

He’s been getting some talented guys, imo he’s already a good recruiter. Pretty talented haul the last 2 classes

Brock has never been on campus?? You are not an Alum?

Not saying anything negative, just surprised that someone who did not go to the school (and lives out of state) is as obsessed as you are.

I was born in Florida, been watching the canes since I was about 5. It’s already been known I’m not an alum at the university of Miami, this is nothing new. A lot of people aren’t doesn’t make them any less of a fan than those who are.

Like I said, not saying anything negative. Local people who support the hometown school is what makes the university great.

I am just surprised that a person who is as dedicated as you has not been to campus/went to school there.

Pretty sure a 5th star is coming for Mr. Neal.

Nobody on either line has been more impressive than him. Thibodeaux whipped everyone's *** all day yesterday and him and Neal had 3 straight reps and Neal won all 3.

247 has him 43rd overall, Rivals 45th and ESPN (who cares?) has him 91st.

I thing the only real thing holding him back was the questions surrounding whether or not he could play tackle. Well, he showed up 30 pounds lighter and kicked everyone's *** on the edge. Answered that question, resoundingly. He's going to climb in the next update. Either to a 5-star or really **** close.

Payton was solid and I dont Think he should or will be bumped up to a 5 star. He didn’t do anything to hurt his stock that’s for sure. When he was healthy he was making plays. He’s already in that top 40 range in 247 rankings which is a good spot for him imo. Now Stevenson and Neal on the other hand they absolutely should be 5 stars
