4-star LB Breon Dixon decommits from Georgia

Not that impressed... Highlight said Inside LB only like 2 or 3 clips where he is inside the box. Kid is a great athlete but not an inside backer... I like Steed and this kid better:
DueceDuece Junior season - KEIRSTON JOHNSON highlights - Hudl

Papa Shaq, it probably says ILB because that's what he was going to play in UGA's 3-4 Def. It's probably why he decommitted after he figured he was miscast in that role. If he came to UM he would probably be a OLB.

With the likes of Charles Perry, Jamie Gordinier, Darrion Owens, and Terry McCray we better get all the elite help we can get

What are you talking about? Burying Perry, Gordinier and Owens when they either haven't played or been injured and really most importantly have been subjected to an Al Golden defensive scheme. All have less than 2 years of actual playing experience.

One of our biggest problems has been development of the borderline players who's talent isn't elite of enough to overcome subpar coaching. No reason Perry,Owens and Gordinier shouldn't be at a minimum productive 2s on the depth chart. If they get passed up by Pinckney, Quarterman and McCloud so be it but their level of recruitment in terms of offers and the schools that made those offers suggest they should be contributors.

While it takes some people time to mature, they have had a ton of time in the big picture. It's almost time to turn the page on those kids.

Owens is coming off a torn ACL. Perry's a sophmore and Gourdinier was red-shirted. Don't know where you've got this "ton of time" myth from.

In football, either you have IT or you don't. There is no in between.

This is dumb.

Read more, post less of your stupid cliches.

Sorry that you are so soft shouldered, but this sport is still played by SAVAGES. Ask yourself why they can't even crack the lineup.

Played the sport at a very high level for what was a very strong high school program against and with several players who ended up at
big-time college programs and NFL.
LOL at your stupid "savage" cliches about soft-shoulders and other nonsense you probably picked up from your parent's
couch watching Mel Kiper, Friday Night Lights and playing EA Sports.
Try that schtick on someone else.
You don't know what the heck you're talking about, bagging on kids who still have time to contribute to this program, especially
one still recovering from his injury.
You are a clueless blowhard who knows nothing about player development.
Go watch some more NFL Countdown.

Makes absolutely no sense to me. Your argument is something like a rambling high school *****. I played and lettered in basketball and football. I can name names of my conquest and show proof that it exist. I use my own eyes and what the coaches say to form my own judgments. THOSE LB's I NAMED CAN'T EVEN CRACK THE LINEUP. **** they (coaches) wanted Perry to change positions just less than two weeks ago. Don't get mad at me it's just the facts and a reality of big time football. Either you produce or you lose your spot to someone who can. And for that matter there are quite a few more that need to be sent to Marshall or where the ***c ever.

SAM looks like a good replace for Grace...he is very comfortable out in space...and extremely athletic

The kid is ranked the 64th LB on 247... don't have the major offers... But I have seen this kid in the spring against Shaq's HS.. he decimated our offense... Aided in his HS beating defending state champs trinity last weekend... This kid will blow up before this season is over.... Even when he wasn't making the tackle... he was disrupting the offense

Speaking of Jacksonville Trinity, there was another thread about a safety at that school named Derrick Smith who could be choosing us over USCw. Are you and Shaq familiar with him or know him and is he someone who can help us build?

Thanks!

Weak-side linebacker: Freshman Michael Pinckney, who I reported had platelet-rich plasma therapy on his injured hamstring 10 days ago, has been limited for much of camp. Redshirt freshman Jamie Gordinier is running ahead of redshirt sophomore Darrion Owens. “I’d say [Owens] is not likely right now to be a starter, but we just want him to be healthy before he really goes full speed. I’m not saying Owens won’t get a crack at it before it’s over.” - Mark Richt

When Coach Diaz was chastising the LB's the other day, I felt he was mainly talking about Owens among others, but mostly Owens.

Our lb's minus the new freshmen need to be upgraded. That's all I'm saying. The true freshmen lb's got it goin on IMHO. Richt knows what he's doing though. I believe in Richt.
