4-star LB Breon Dixon decommits from Georgia

Miami needs another LB in this class. Hopefully he has an eye on us.

I'd love to see us in there for him but chances are Pruitt would have a good shot if Bama is interested. Not sure where Georgia's previous linebacker coach is but that could also be a contender if there was a good bond there.

Richt is holding that final LB slot for someone special like this. That's why Wilder doesn't have a viable offer right now and is talking all this Auburn mess.

With the likes of Charles Perry, Jamie Gordinier, Darrion Owens, and Terry McCray we better get all the elite help we can get

What are you talking about? Burying Perry, Gordinier and Owens when they either haven't played or been injured and really most importantly have been subjected to an Al Golden defensive scheme. All have less than 2 years of actual playing experience.

One of our biggest problems has been development of the borderline players who's talent isn't elite of enough to overcome subpar coaching. No reason Perry,Owens and Gordinier shouldn't be at a minimum productive 2s on the depth chart. If they get passed up by Pinckney, Quarterman and McCloud so be it but their level of recruitment in terms of offers and the schools that made those offers suggest they should be contributors.

While it takes some people time to mature, they have had a ton of time in the big picture. It's almost time to turn the page on those kids.

Camp specials? Charles Perry had offers from Bama, Auburn, Florida and FSU. Owens had offers from UGA and Ohio State. Gordinier had an offer from Michigan State and the rest were mid-tier power 5 schools. Time to mature...Gordinier was a redshirt and is probably gonna be the starting WILL(unless Pinckney is healthy). Perry is a true sophomore and Owens was a starting OLB until he hurt his knee in the second game of the season last year.

They might not be elite but unless they're complete whiffs which is possible they should have a role as at least solid depth even if the '16 class of freshmen LBs are special.

Owens is coming off a torn ACL. Perry's a sophmore and Gourdinier was red-shirted. Don't know where you've got this "ton of time" myth from.

It's time to become a machine again. We go after this kid. What I hear our fans say in making excuses as to not get kids b/c we might hurt other players on this roster's feelings, is bull. You don't hear that crap at Bama, or OSU or FSU. You stack up and you become a product machine. If the guys who can't hang fall out, they didn't belong here anyways. It's time for the U to mean just that, THE U. I know it's been a long time, but there was a reason why we were NFL U.

The kid is ranked the 64th LB on 247... don't have the major offers... But I have seen this kid in the spring against Shaq's HS.. he decimated our offense... Aided in his HS beating defending state champs trinity last weekend... This kid will blow up before this season is over.... Even when he wasn't making the tackle... he was disrupting the offense

In football, either you have IT or you don't. There is no in between.
