Did this kid make Wayne expendable for a lower price ?
There is an extremely alarming trend going on right now, and I’m not sure people realize how foolish they look.Did this kid make Wayne expendable for a lower price ?
I had an extra pair of these laying around. There is an extremely alarming trend going on right now, and I’m not sure people realize how foolish they look.
So it started with running back depth is fine because Elijah Lofton is absolutely disgusting. Our DT issues are fine because we have Justin Scott and Artavius Jones coming in. Our edge situation must be fine because McConathy must have passed him up…
Some of you are putting way too much pressure and faith in kids that have never played a down of collegiate football. Part of that isn’t your fault, it’s the narratives plastered on these boards and the traditional Spring propaganda we see every cycle. Then when they don’t play 40+ snaps this season and we complain about depth again, you’ll go from crowning these kids as future all Americans, to saying they’re JAGs.
There is a reason Freshmen (and true freshmen at that) don’t normally play a lot in their first year at a P4 program. Not even the Alabama’s and UGA’s and Ohio State’s see multiple guys become instant contributors. Why? Because the jump in competition is 10x harder. How many times have we seen kids jumping off the page in the Spring, and then the fall comes around only for the narrative to change to “he needs to learn the playbook” or “his body needs to get acclimated to college football, he needs a year to get used to the physicality”…
Half of our projected starting 22 comes from the portal this year, and another four kids are Manny guys…there is a reason many Mario recruits aren’t in line to start, and that’s because it takes time for kids to get acclimated to college. Bain and Francis are just rare breeds (for example).
Guess we’ll see what happens…

Half of our projected starting 22 comes from the portal this year, and another four kids are Manny guys…why? Because they’re vets. They’re experienced and have produced on this stage. There is a reason many Mario recruits aren’t in line to start, and that’s because it takes time for kids to get acclimated to college. Bain and Francis are just rare breeds (for example).

I don't think this is a trend, per say. There is an extremely alarming trend going on right now, and I’m not sure people realize how foolish they look.
This board is basically David Wooderson but with football prospectsI don't think this is a trend, per say.
Pause was a trend. Can he play DT/dunk? Trend. The thing that really helps this recruiting class is the early commitment of QB Jack Allison... TREND ALERT.
This is just CIS, CIS'ing. Looking foolish is what we do.
The belt buckle is the best part of that scene for anyone that saw movie. This board is basically David Wooderson but with football prospects
Back in the days of beeper codes lol, 98 was mineMedearis is my favorite DE of all time, and in my Top 5 players of all time. As relentless as there ever was.
On my All-Time UM team...Medearis is one of my DEs...with either Hendricks or Stubbs as the other.Back in the days of beeper codes lol, 98 was mine
You saying there's posters/porsters on this site that are flakey???....Will be the same people pushing them out in a couple years for a new batch of freshmen. This has been happening here since this board was created so just let them cook and cope however they need to.
Just such a great player at UM and agree 1000.Medearis is my favorite DE of all time, and in my Top 5 players of all time. As relentless as there ever was.
Pause wasn’t a trend Pal! It’s still well & alive to this dayI don't think this is a trend, per say.
