Re-stating exactly what has been said since the jump is not “addressing the issue”.

The whole mess is a big win for On3 and an L for 247. For 24 hours they’ve had to mention their newest competitor every time they defend themselves from their own error.

Buddy even threw in the “I’m proud of what we accomplished” kicker.

Siiiiiigh, it’s like I said in the other thread; ur beef is not w/ 247, ur beef should be w/ On3 that have been completely biased w/ their rankings. On3 is now being included in the composite score, recently. Yes, the timing of it is all wrong, but regardless now that On3 is being included, their ratings r off af when it comes to our recruits & the timing of their stories regarding committed players seems fishy af.

Now, I know one of their analyst/commentators post on here, but the fact is, something seems personal w/ how they view recruits heavily interested in us.

The crux of the problem is On3 anti-Cane bias with their recruiting rankings. Canes players on On3 are consistently ranked lower compared to other ranking services like rivals and espn. This bias doesn’t exit for teams like Alabama. Whatever excuse On3 gives for Wayne loosing his 5* doesn’t account for their lower rankings.

The second reason why Wayne’s star dropped is that his lower On3 ranking factored into the in 247 overall composite ranking. 247 sports should never have allowed On3 into their composite rankings without any accountability or cross checking the accuracy of their rankings. It’s clear that On3 Miami rankings are negatively biased and consistently lower that the other sites. It’s unclear why this Miami bias exist perhaps they make more money pumping up SEC schools. 247 is in part responsible and should be called out as complicit. It should at the very least remove On3 from their composite rankings until On3 adjusts their Miami rankings. Doubt this will happen because it admits their system was flawed and discriminatory.

I would hate to see Stanco fall down a flight of stairs at Hard Rock because he tripped.

Should really keep his head onna swivel with those pesky cracks in concrete and all.

I’m in the camp where I don’t care much about rankings

However I do care about blatant *****assness

The only reason they are commenting at all is because they have to be losing a decent amount of subscribers from this, and are doing damage control to slow the bleeding. They drop our players’ rankings all the time and say nothing. This is like a tip of the iceberg situation for many of the people that choose to pay for information. Paying hard-earned money to the service just for them to disrespect the player (and by extension, the fans) afterward.
