Having followed him at Liberty.... he is a leader among men... he carries that team on his shoulders much like Cam. He throws a beautiful long ball and runs just as good.
However not sure of his fit in the Miami culture.

He played well against us but I still don’t see a guy that consistently make throw after throw.

Mateer is going to get paid. It's a generally weak class because of all the super seniors playing right now. Just not a ton of great options.

Any of them have history in dark arts of air raid..

I only ask because I think that gave Cam a HUGE leg up, having played in system 4 seasons basically.. Dude was cooking since spring..

The following QBs runs air raid system also have a good TD/INT ratio:

Chandler Morris-North Texas
John Mateer- Washington State
Josh Hoover- TCU

I didn’t watch JMU this year but their QB has pretty good stats. Annihilated UNC. Played Ball State and had stats very similar to what Ward put up. He’s only a RS Sophomore. Alonza Barnett III
