Who are some names you are looking at

Fifta from Zona would be a HR, maybe with Macillon going pro he leaves
Mendoza from Cal

Salter from Liberty, been watching him, just dont see hes the guy

The one that I want to see more is Cam's buddy Drones at Vtech

of course, some good backups will get in, but we need an experienced guy

anyone else to watch?

Keep an eye on Ohio State QB situation.

Then look at lower level high performing QBs.

Brenden Sorsby with Cincy is one to watch.

Chandler Morris-North Texas

Any of them have history in dark arts of air raid..

I only ask because I think that gave Cam a HUGE leg up, having played in system 4 seasons basically.. Dude was cooking since spring..

- Noah Fifita, Arizona 5’10 190 would be Junior
(Really small but also absolute gamer - could see him sliding to USC with Riley)
- Haynes King, GT 6’3 215 would be Senior
(Adding him only because NIL wise big programs will offer more than GT)
- Eli Holstein, Pitt 6’4 220 would be Soph
(Adding because will get bigger NIL offers)
- Kaidon Salter, Liberty 6’1 200 would be Senior
(I still assume he will end up at Auburn after this disaster of a year)
- DJ Lagway, Florida 6’3 250 would be Sophomore
(TAMU will 100% offer him Nico level $ so UF at minimum has to up their offer to keep - I still think he leaves for TAMU if Billy fired)
- Kyron Drones, VT 6’2 235 would be Senior
(To me this is the name I can see most linked to us because of his closeness to Cam and Mario will like that he was in the conference)
- Fernando Mendoza, 6’5 225 would be Junior
(From down here and will get major NIL offers for his ‘money’ season)

A few lower level underclassmen I’ve noticed early. Primarily trying to look at guys with 2+ years left. I’m not so sure about Mateer, but WSU has been good to us, so he’s one atleast worth monitoring. Obviously, at this point I think the consensus is Target #1 should be Lagway, if he hits the portal ofcourse.

I thought Drones was pretty bad when I saw him play. To be fair it was the first game of the season though.

I watched the Marshall game and its the Va Tech offensive scheme. They play very conservative, its not what I was expecting. The crowd and the announcers were getting on them about opening it up. There HC a Penn State guy, so that explains it

Mendoza needs to improve a lot. I'm not seeing it. He was ugly against Auburn and their bowl game

It needs to be someone who wants to really improve their draft stock. I'm not sure it can be an unproven freshman from another school

The top sophomores are already solidified (Arch, Nico) or have already transferred but I guess they got a free transfer when their coach got fired.

Tbh, I think we're kind of ****ed here lmao

Avery Johnson: can't really pass like Cam Ward or even near it. He's got the juice but he's skinny. Does he leave K St? Maybe if he doesn't like the new offense. Idk.

Jackson Arnold: his confidence seems real shaky rn. I don't think he leaves Oklahoma anyways.
