What was so arrogant about what Shedeur said?

I've watched that interview 10 times now, point me out what about that was arrogant?

His hat is backwards & hes wearing two sets of diamond necklaces, therefore he’s arrogant. The league is still full of the good ole boys club, particularly in the national media. Remember how LJ was labeled b/c he had a gold grill?

Football is kang, champ. The NBA could take a page from this league instead of cannibalizing itself.
NBA definitely needs to take notes but the MLB for sure needs to do something.

The way Ohtani isn’t being talked about like as the next Lebron-like sensation is wild (I mean household name outside of sports fans).

The old boys need to know and understand that these players ain't boys anymore. They are multimillionaire men that are running a business here.

Shedeur won't stink. He's built different. We can debate ceiling, but he's a Geno Smith floor.

Should be a Top 4 pick at worst in this draft.

There is no reason Tennessee and Cleveland's picks aren't locked in now with Cam and Shedeur at 1/2

Zach Wilson went 2 in a draft. Mitchell Trubisky went 2. Like...what are we doing here? They both stink. Have no QB. Joe Schoen even sees the obvious and is likely going to.bamboozle the Titans out of the surefire QB1.

Cleveland is a hellhole for QBs and I dont wish that on anyone, but they should be running up there with Sanders on the card.

Come on. There are hundreds of other guys at the Combine who are NOT "hat in hand trembling with fear saying 'yessuh, nossuh'". Do you honestly believe that is what Cam Ward is doing? Yet nobody says a word about CAM being arrogant.

There's a very wide range between a Stepin Fetchit personality-type and, say, a Nat X approach to dealing with people.

Particularly at the QB position, a top draft choice is trying to convince a franchise to invest $30M in one player, and then even more money to build a coaching staff and offense around that particular player. And the reality of the NFL is that over a 5-year period, almost every drafted player will experience HC/coordinator coaching turnover and free agent comings and goings. Not everyone can be drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs, and you can't pout every time you don't have an ideal coaching staff and roster around you.

So for Shadeur to be casual and dismissive of multiple teams, knowing full-well that the "worst" teams get the highest draft picks, is not a very convincing display of leadership and commitment. Regardless of how he feels in his heart and mind, he can certainly express confidence in his ability to turn any team around. Does he have something else on his calendar that is making these meetings "a waste of his time" to him? It's a job interview, not a dating app where he can just "swipe left".
Brother you got to remember in this world some people simply need to come up with a narrative. College is far more yes sir no sir The rest of that than the NFL. In the NFL it's a business and it's always conducted that way. These people that keep trying to make it seem like everything is some old racist trying to have people kissing your ***, they're simply stuck in their own ways. Cuz nothing about the NFL is like that anymore. If you sincerely look at the interviews throughout the years of shadeur Sanders and you don't think he's trying to portray himself in the image his father has molded him which is the definition of arrogance then you're simply being naive. That is what Dion has always been known for he tries to make it seem like he's above everything and nothing defines him. Why for a second would we think his children wouldn't behave in the same manner He's raised them in his shadow. It's not a negative it's not a positive it just is what it is.
