Ohtani is the best athlete in the world. If he wanted to play football, he could have been great. He’s 6’4, 220, probably running 4.5 with supreme work ethic and coordination.

Nobody has done the things he’s done from a hitting, throwing and running standpoint in the 180-year history of baseball.

& that’s the conundrum: does skill = harder? I think baseball, golf, & hockey r the three most difficult sports to play, skill wise, but there’s a reason football players have an avg. shelf life of 3 yrs playing ONE position.

It’s a POV ?, & this is what makes sports a uniting & divisive entity. I believe what Ohtani is doing is incredibly special, but the physical demand of a football player whether it’s collegiately or professionally is hard to fathom. Doing it on both sides all game long for 3 seasons is even harder to imagine.

The separator for me is that he went 50/50.

That’s the ultimate power and speed stat in baseball. Of all the great athletes in baseball history, nobody has done that. And it doesn’t even include the pitching.

Sanders has great intangibles. He can read defenses, he’s poised and he’s tough. The physical is more of my concern. But I think he can be good with a healthy situation around him.

So what's the big difference between Shedeur Sanders & Eli Manning's situation?

One was a clear cut 1st rounder with a far more impactful legacy given he was following Archie and Peyton manning who were both quarterbacks and the other is is a 2nd rounder talent wise whos dad is a HOFer but at CB, and at the end of the day rubs people the wrong way. Like Whats the difference between Cams confidence and Shadeurs? Cam is deserving of being a top 5 pick while Shadeur isn't. So I wouldn't be surprised to see plenty of teams conduct an interview with both and walking away thinking hey both these guys have similar confidence, but ones is entirely out of pocket. The fact is if you are going to be the #1 pick, acting like it is nbd. If you aren't, well acting like you are is a little off-putting.

Now if anyone is taking these interviews and these teams evaluations of the characters and changing how they view the player, they are dumb. You should be pretty aware of the type of player Shadeur is by now. Nor should it really work negatively for Shadeur. Because the fact of the matter is he likely isn't behaving in that type of off-putting manner to teams that he actually desires to be apart of. And in a sense him kinda making it clear that he doesn't give a **** about certain franchises actually could be beneficial, especially if you consider that destination is of such critical importance for a QBs career. Obviously why Eli pulled the stunt he did. If it works out for Shadeur, mission accomplished. But it shouldn't be a surprise it generates a negative reaction. I mean it's literally intending for that basically lol....

Basically if he comes off as too arrogant by some team, I'd think he intended it that way... Ultimately what is the actual difference to him if he's picked 3 or like 40? Sure money, but if it's to the right organization and you're thinking purely about ultimate long-term goals. Maybe no problem. H'es got money... And I think off field deals he'll have no problem securing whatsoever...

I mean that’s a gross exaggeration. It’s a job interview. You don’t have to yes sir no sir. But talking like you care. I’d suggest listening to McShay describe what he was told. He said he didn’t say or do anything disrespectful, but simply came of arrogant and like he didn’t care.

So Shedeur is arrogant because some anonymous Front office personnel person said so?

What about all the other people who can attest to the exact opposite?

There's actually more people who don't think he's arrogant or brash than there are people who do. And funny enough, the ones who don't have actually put name & face behind it, while the people who labeled him as brash & arrogant get to sit comfortably behind the guise of anonymity.

The evidence of him not being arrogant far outweighs the evidence that he actually is. In fact, aside from anonymous word of mouth, there isn't any actual evidence of him being arrogant.

If someone perceives him as arrogant that's because they simply chose to spin it that way. The overwhelming majority of people who have encounted him & been around him say the exact opposite about his character, attitude & the way he carries himself.

So if you're choosing to believe 2 anonymous people vs the dozens & dozens of others who say different, then that’s based on what you're choosing to believe than what is reality.

Shedeur is no more or no less arrogant than any other QB. If he is, show some proof, otherwise it's just conjecture.

Bro, no offense, but Eli & his pops told everyone he’s not playing for San Diego, & if he’s drafted by them he’s sitting out to get traded. Lol. That’s by far the most arrogant thing I’ve witnessed in the past 20+ yrs from a guy & his family coming out of college.

What has Shedeur said? That he’s the best QB in the draft? So has Cam. That he feels he can be in any situation & thrive? So has Cam.

The problem w/ perception is two folds:

1. He’s Deion’s son, and every fcking player that’s played for him including Hunter r deemed “arrogant.” What’s funny is CU just set a school record for the highest team GPA in history, w/ a 3.0 across the board; but, b/c Deion doesn’t kiss *** & calls out the media who r notorious for being in their feelings, they’ve attacked him & his players while we haven’t heard **** about this accomplishment.

2. Shedeur is flashy, & a certain demographic doesn’t like college kids w/ flash, especially African-American ones; so while Cam is the ideal guy w/ the ball in his hands, no jewelry, Shedeur is the opposite, laughing w/ hella drip on.

Perception is reality, & I’m not close to being a Shedeur fan, but even among this fan base, ya’ll hate for Deion has spilt over to true football players like Travis & Shedeur.

Shedeur has been nothing but a model student, & I’ve gotten that straight from a parent’s mouth whose son attends Colorado. Says bro is always dapping up regular students, taking flicks, joking, but b/c he don’t fit the mode of what a traditional student athlete is supposed to be, his confidence has been scrutinized as arrogance. I bet my bottom dollar if his name was Shedeur Jackson & not Sanders, he would be a media darling.

My gripe was that people saying that the NFL is against him because he is wealthy and his dad and can’t be controlled.

I posted the two interviews of him and cam that are on the same talking point. Theirs a clear difference.

I’m younger so I don’t have some hatred for Prime or is son. I don’t care. I truthfully hope he and cam ball out. I think it’s a cool story and battle between the two.

But I have listened to him talk many times. He does come of arrogant and entitled to me
