2024 WR Room is FILTHY

The whole world should disagree with my posts. I was being sarcastic. I'm making fun of FSU fans who think their WR room will be just as good as last years and one of the top WR groups in the nation.

1. They have no production coming back. That doesn't mean some of their returning guys wont be
productive, but they lost basically all their production.

2. Their team is not stronger and faster than last year. That was coming from Norvell, clearly just
coach speak. Nobody believes that.

3. Their receivers they picked up in the portal are not studs. I don't think I heard of a single one.
Maybe the WR from Bama?
I agree with you mostly. I would say their 2024 WR room could be faster as Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson were not blazers. Wilson surprisingly ran faster than Coleman at the combine. Wilson a 4.53 and Coleman a 4.61. The truth is FSU's WR room is unknown. Unproven.

The 2024 FSU WR room had a combined 57 catches in 2023 including the production from their transfers. Just about every WR they have is unproven. That brings uncertainty and increases the risk of bad outcomes.

I like what Mario has done. He's going for experienced proven talent at WR and every position group. What he is going for is predictability.

10 years from now we will look back at X as the most under appreciated and undervalued WR in canes history.

People hate on him I think because TVD looked for him too much? Bottom line is he gets open, catches everything, and doesn’t put the ball on the turf. He is straight money. Ward is going to love having such a reliable option out there especially on 3rd down.
FACTS ... the other day there was a poll with him and roscoe parrish and it wasn't as easy of a decision as i thought it would be when you get down to stats etc

That paper is production. It did and does translate. Unlike FSU who's 2024 WR room had a combined 57 catches in 2023. That's including the production of their transfer WRs. For context, the entire 2024 FSU WR roster had the same number of catches as Jacolby George.

We good!!!!
Love how you cut the Noles in your response. Always welcome news. Go Canes 🏈

Stop it nobody is hating on X bro 🙄. He’s a very productive slot receiver, but he doesn’t necessarily scare a defense, it is what it is

Defenses are scared as **** when they look up on the scoreboard and the number under “MIAMI” says 40 something.

And plenty of people on this site hated on X last year. You’re passively aggressively doing it right now, but it’s all good. He’s gonna keep getting open, and Cam is gonna feed him. And it’s gonna be efficient and help us score points/win games. I don’t give a **** what scares a defense. Our team is gonna shred every ******* one we play.

He scares the **** out of defenses. They bracket him all the time and he still comes through clutch. 3rd down everyone knows where the ball is going and it doesn't matter. People act like his targets are all 5 yard routes.

The constant complaining "oh no another catch by X. Another first down. Why does this happen to us?"

Honestly the only way to stop X last year was to drop eight or nine defenders. Not that they could cover him or anything. It's just TVD would be confused by having time and options. As an offense you can't let TVD have all day to throw or it'll kill you.

We have lost to some terrible teams and end up 7-5 for yearsssss.. Gonna be awhile before we earn the right to scare teams, hopefully we start this year.

Samuel Brown is the best WR on the team IMO.

My reasons:
- Route running
- Production while playing with a very inaccurate QB & wasn't the #1 option
- Size
- Speed
- Scheme fit

Those factors lead me to believe he'll be the highest WR's drafted amongst this group. Which round exactly, idk, but I'm guessing he gets picked first out of our top 3 draft eligible for 2025.

Agreed I think he’s the best/most well rounded wr we have but i also think jacolby will be our most productive wr this year unless the extra stuff takes snaps away from him. He fits perfect with cam imo

But brown is a more dynamic athlete, he’s plays thru physicality alot better too. Picking him up raises the ceiling of the room

I haven't seen anything of him so I couldn't possibly agree with you. But if you're right then our WR room will be unstoppable.

Y’all just soft, nobody is hating on X. He’s a good receiver I like him. Hope he catches lots of balls (pause) and scores a lot. But hating is a stretch.

If X was/is what you are saying, he would’ve been a first round pick this past April…no?

Top 3 WRs are guys who just went for at least 800 yards.

Next WR up is 6-4 and looks stronger and faster and has shown he can make plays.

Next group of WRs are JoJo, Ray Ray and Carr, who are all dynamic in their own right.

If Dawson carries his "I'm trying to end this ************ right now" attitude all season, this is a top 10 offense.
