What, you disagree? Come on man. Their coach said this was their strongest and fastest team ever. I'm sure that applies to the receivers. They got all that production coming back with Hykeem Williams, Destyn Hill, and Ja'Khi Douglas. Plus those studs they got from the portal. Yikes!!!
yes he disagrees and im sure a boat load of others do too. They lost 2 sick *** wr to the NFL play a dam good qb. I mean the qb is part of the equation.

Maybe im the only one shocked. ****..okay! Count me in!

Xavier Restrepo - Consensus Top 10 national receiver by basically anyone previewing the upcoming season. 2nd in the ACC in catches and yards last year. Is also now over a full year removed from the foot injury that cost him half of 2022. 5th year senior and leader, should have a massive season again.

Jacolby George - 3rd in the ACC last year in yards and 8th in catches. Averaged 15.2 YPC last year, which ranked 25th in the entire country on players with 50+ catches. 4th in the conference in TDs, with 8. Now a 4th year player with a full year under his belt.

Sam Brown -- 5th year player and had over 800 yards receiving last year with very ****** QB play. NFL caliber athlete, with good size (pause). Also very familiar with Dawson's system having played for him in 2022.

Isaiah Horton -- Major breakout candidate, redshirted in 2022 and played in all 13 games in 2023. Played a major role in the bowl game and was one of the breakout stars of the spring, looks like he totally revamped his body (Pause deux), certainly looking the part and was a consensus blue-chip prospect with over 20 offers. Dude looks every bit of 6'3 and 215 right now.

That's 3 absolutely proven dudes with major production at the big-boy level, and what could very well be a budding star in Horton. I don't see a lot of programs with this much production coming back. Restrepo has over 1500 career yards, George has over 1000, and so does Brown. Are there a lot of programs out there with 3 different kids who have over 1000 career receiving yards? I doubt it.

Then you sprinkle in the young talent that you can develop. Ray Ray Joseph flat dominated Dade county football and was a major Clemson priority until he flipped to the good guys. He's entering Year 2. Robby Washington has legit blazing speed. And then, oh yeah, we signed the composite #42 overall player in the country and #9 WR in Jojo Trader AND the #67 overall player and #15 WR in Ny Carr. Miami was one of 5 teams in the country to sign TWO Top 15 WRs on the composite (Taint, Clemson, Oregon, Auburn).

This room has silly talent. And we have a dude who can get them the football, on time, in stride.

The whole world should disagree with my posts. I was being sarcastic. I'm making fun of FSU fans who think their WR room will be just as good as last years and one of the top WR groups in the nation.

1. They have no production coming back. That doesn't mean some of their returning guys wont be
productive, but they lost basically all their production.

2. Their team is not stronger and faster than last year. That was coming from Norvell, clearly just
coach speak. Nobody believes that.

3. Their receivers they picked up in the portal are not studs. I don't think I heard of a single one.
Maybe the WR from Bama?

Don't **** us, Dawson
If he does what he’s supposed to with this talent he’s gone… he’ll be a hot name for a HC vacancy.

If he ***** the bed he’s gone because… “How TF?!?!”

Either way I think he’s gone after this year.

I’m a big fan of both X and George but Sam Brown may very well end up WR1 by the end of the year. 6’2” with 4.45 speed and proven production.

Wouldn't shock me. Can really jump and catch, too. He's not just an athlete, he's a pretty good WR who is also a great athlete.

If you mean "WR1" as far as receptions, I really don't see any way how X doesn't pace us there with how he's used in the offense and how good he is at getting open. But could Brown emerge as a "go to" guy and lead the team in yards and TDs? **** yeah.

It was a bit wild some people didn't really care for him as a Transfer Portal priority. On paper, your biggest asset is at QB and your biggest liability is at DB. This isn't high level Math: we likely need to score a lot of points. Fortifying the WR group with a proven, high ceiling guy isn't superfluous. 35PPG minimum and without a big drop in key games, and we're winning the double digit games we should.

I really don't think 35 a clip is unreasonable.

Last year, 13 teams averaged 35+. But 2022 and 2021, that number was 20. Why can't this be one of the 20 most prolific offenses in the country? Literally what more do you need? I'm not saying #1 and score 45 a game...but 35? Against this schedule? There is zero excuse.

I don’t think he’s very high on the “potential head coach” list right now. That could change if the offense just blows everyone away this year but right now he’s not even in the upper tier of offensive coordinators. His track record is hit and miss and people still think he’s a product of Dana Holgerson.

10 years from now we will look back at X as the most under appreciated and undervalued WR in canes history.

People hate on him I think because TVD looked for him too much? Bottom line is he gets open, catches everything, and doesn’t put the ball on the turf. He is straight money. Ward is going to love having such a reliable option out there especially on 3rd down.

We know what we have in Restrepo/George.

Brown should be able to replicate/excel what Colbie gave us last year

The real X factors are guys like Horton, JoJo, Carr, and Ray Ray to really make the offense exciting.

Really hope we utilize everyone to their skill sets and tailor the offense around that.

This might be wishful thinking but with the weapons & OL we have on offense with Cam slinging it, is there any reason why we shouldn't average like 40 points a game?
USC, with the #1 QB selected in the NFL Draft, scored 42 a game.

Scoring 35 puts you probably in the top 20 scoring teams. Would not be bad.

If we do avr 40 a game it would = 10+ win season barring a total collapse of our D.
