2023 NFL Combine & Miami Pro Day

These are fairly important in the NFL. He also seems like a guy that may need that Kyler Murray study clause in his contract.
Of course they are, but they’re not unlearnable assets is my point.

Very few QB’s come into the league mechanically perfect & none come into the always making the right throws.

Even generational talents like Mahomes, Allen & Burrow had to learn & fix things through their developments as QB’s. Look at how much growth Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott & Deshaun Watson all went through & progressed from their rookie season to their 3rd or 4th year etc in the league.

He absolutely sucks as a QB. I respect @Memnon immensely but Richardson is not NFL material at all.
To be fair so did Josh Allen against far worse competition in college. Teams are going to think they can teach him how to play the position and build a scheme that showcases his strength. The biggest thing for Richardson at the combine will be when he gets on the white board in front of teams, his biggest issue was reading Defenses in college and will need to show teams he knows his **** and can learn the stuff he doesn't.

Is it fair to say that if he went to anywhere besides UF/FSU that you might not think that?
I'd still be scared to draft him high in 1st round but I'd definitely be more intrigued at the end of 1st. Gator/***** QBs never develop. Not that Miami has done any better though.

I pay very close attention to what QBs do with their offensive line. My big criticism of Tua was that he had an amazing WR corps and line, and sucked vs. Clemson. Richardson had a solid OL, and didn't show me that he had the ability to read.

I like where your head's at, because lord knows I despise UF and FSU.

But, no. I don't see it with this guy. I hope the Jets pick him.

I can respect that.

My stance is, he’s talented enough to do well in the league in the right system.

I don’t think he’s a franchise QB that can turn a bad team into a good team in one season, I think he’s a projection pick that in a few years with some development can be good enough starter.

He’s more upside than polished.

Allen exceeded my early expectations, but all of a sudden my initial criticisms are showing through this year. He's not even close to a future hall of famer. If the Dolphins had an owner worth half a good god ****, the Bills would be absolutely DONE this coming year. But, I know Stephen Pecho Frio Ross won't do what it takes.

I get you.

I'd also commit felonies to have Rodgers or Jackson for one year with the Dolphins.

I'm not always right about QBs. I severely underrated Herbert.

But I called the busts of Wilson, Tua, Darnold easily.

I said Mike McMahon would hang around the league.

I said Rodgers would be the best ever.

I said Mahomes would be **** good.

So, it's not a shot in the dark either.
