The funny thing is for someone who loved the U he didn’t show it in his efforts or his passion wasn’t there when recruiting or coaching smh oh well

He was the diet coke version of the team: the taste without the caffeine (hard work or substance). Instead, we got slip and slides and skee ball, ticket chains. He was the Reagan era south Florida rich kid who fantasized about belonging to the inner city. But, only knew of it through video games and newspaper articles about breaking penalty records/while winning and 'angering the establishment'.

Basically, we had a 80/90s yuppie running our program.

Sounds like he is only actually visiting the university on Monday for practice otherwise he is just in town. Hopefully he falls in love with the area

Nah, he understands it’s a process. Believe it or not, he has been trying to lower everyone’s expectations bc he knows it’s a rebuild. Our roster is top heavy with a lot of holes and lack of depth. He knows there will be some bump in the roads.
