Ya disagree there...Doesn't ruin roster balance, we don't know if any of the kids you are talking about our any good, we need an influx of talent a t the position....DJ Ivey shouldn't be a starter at UM for instance. I'm not saying take any juco, but Williams on tape looks like a home run who would help any school in the country no matter who is on your roster.

Dj ivey May have started slow on the season (i was a big critic of him too) but he’s been coming on strong these last 3 weeks or so. And you got to tip your cap for his improvement. I dont Get that comment to say “he shouldn’t be a starter”. These guys are in juco for a reason, he could be another jhavontae dean which is obviously always possible, never know.

Manny better stay Portal King at this point. HS recruiting is seriously lacking and has been for most of his tenure. We are literally everyone’s back up option. Even the non elite blue chip kids.

Year 1 in recruiting for Manny & staff and it was supposed to be simple
•Lock up the kids committed to us before Richt left.
•Lock up local SFL Talent.
•Fill in much needed depth Oline, DB, LB.
•Win enough games to maybe go after a 5 star kid without putting all of our eggs in one basket

Manny even admitted half of this is the formula for success. Idk why the staff thinks backwards, and now we’re left scrambling for local Talent, last min just like with CMR

Never said he was coming but if you want to write knighton off completely like that then who’s to say jalen Harrell won’t do the same when he’s “passed on us already to go elsewhere earlier in the year ” too? I’m in wait and see mode with most of our recruiting targets(that includes Francois who I like A lot), I’ll believe it when I see It

Just give me one of the Juco corners and call that position a wrap. Really disappointed in how this o line crootin is looking, gonna need to raid the portal hard. I just hope hypolite or the Wakulla fsu commit wake up and realize they're committed to crap programs and one of them flips but we'll see. End of the day though for our recruiting winning out on the field is what really matters. We do that and everything will fall into place.

Closing with the 2 Harrells, Hyppolite, and a CB maybe Tee Denson or Francois on defense would be great. On offense I would like Martinez, Worshaw, and maybe Parrish. Closing with these players would be huge.

Love the idea of taking 5 DE's (Williams, Williams, Height, Harrell, and Roberts DE/DT). That is a serious problem.

On a side note what happen with Hodges? Did we drop him or did he just fall out of love with us?

Douglas Emilien has some track ability also as in his only season this year in T&F high jumped 6 feet and was on the 4 x 100 meter relay team.

Brown is far faster than Hodges. Ran a laser 4.64 at the Opening compared to Hodges 4.89. In track superior long speed in the 100m 11.22 vs 11.99 for Hodges and this was both players first year in HS track so no advantage there.

Man this is depressing. I hope manny takes his “no excuses” “everyone has to own it” approach to recruiting because this is unacceptable. Also he needed a super fast start to show proof of concepts to these kids and wasn’t able to produce.

Like this class a lot.. BUT I have a few major issues with how this staffed didn’t recruit/prioritize certain guys ie.

- throwing the kitchen sink at Jaylen Knighton when he CLEARLY has no interest in us and not pursing Parrish more instead

- missing on multiple SoFla OL (Dumervil, Walker, Mincy) and not prioritizing Martinez or a guy like Kristopher Love

- doing the same thing with Flowe as we’re doing with Knighton. Theres a perfectly good “Plan B” in Hyppolitte that we’re stupidly slow playing

- CB recruiting again somewhat suspect. Why not take a guy like Delancy
