At the end of the day we agree. We need 6 DBs in this class for sure. We're just going to be debating which position those 6 guys play.
Now Imo I dont think Jaden Davis or Akeem Dent will pick us. Like literally the ONLY way it makes sense to me to not go for Elam hard as **** is if we know for a fact we are getting at least one of those two AND Chris Steele, which obviously is no guarantee being that hes a Cali guy. And we better ******* get Tyrique Stevenson.
So for me I think the 6 DBs we get are Tyrique Stevenson, Chris Steele, Josh Sanguinetti, Mark Richards, Jordan Battle, and hopefully Kaiir Elam.
And who even knows what position Richards even wants to play, I'd bet he wants to be a WR. And if thats the case, we gotta add another DB. But thats my point in asking why the **** Elam isn't one of our top targets. Like seriously, its just *** planning. Davis, Dent, Steele are all going to be tough pulls to just very unlikely; plus Richards is most likely gunna play offense. That would leave us with Stevenson, Sanguinetti (who is also going to be tough to beat Stanford for), Battle, and ......? who? Rendardo Greene and Tecorey Crouch? Man, Elam is better than both of them, and definitely has more potential than both.
If you want him to be a plan B, sure thats fine, but did this staff learn ******* nothing from last years DB recruiting? Top CB targets that are looking to leave Miami FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, like Davis and Dent, aren't likely to come here. Idk man it just seems so obvious that Elam should be one of our priorities.
