Don’t even compare this team to the 2017 team. Remember Miami was in a dogfight against Toledo in game 2? The closest non conference game this year was the first half of the USF game. The 2017 team dropped 3 in a row to end the year. Won’t happen with this team.

I predicted either a 28-27 let-down squeaker or a blowout victory. For context, I predicted a 10-2 season in August if Cam stayed healthy and was as advertised.

QB now makes this year team better. And the 2017 had a waaaay better defense than what we have now. The 2017 team loses 2-3 games already

I’ll take the defense we had that year any day over this one especially with those dbs. However the way this offense is in 2024 being #1 in nation hard to go against this team

Eh, both teams could lose to any P4 team on their schedule due to Rosier and the offense in '17 and the defense in '24. 2 big differences though -

1. The 2024 team can also BEAT any team on their schedule because of how dynamic the offense is. I never had that feeling in '17.

2. The future is even brighter in '24 with Mario stacking classes at this point.
