Not to be a **** but the coaches at the Manning Camp were overflowing with praise for Stephen Morris too.

True enough, maybe this kid can live up to it. I wish him the best of luck.
 
I truly understand what wvcanefan is saying. I've watched this young man since he was in 6th grade (he was throwing the ball 45 yards with decent accuracy) and I've seen what he can do under pressure - he's a game changer. If he were at a school that had the personnel for a West Coast or Spread offense, he would be a 400+ ypg QB. Baylor just hasn't had it. When I had him we used 6 completely different offensive sets from option to his favorite, a quad stack spread. My play book contained over 150 plays and Nick knew, & executed, every play. I would still be coaching if I didn't make my living as a Clinical Psychologist, although I am considering retirement with a return to coaching - maybe the 'Canes need an Assistant QB Coach!

Can you recruit DT´s and put a decent defense on the field? If the answer is yes, the job is yours! lol

Jokes aside, I´m one of the few who think Tiano has more arm than that film shows. Some guys were speculating here that the film coach Coley asked Tiano to send to him doing some designated throws (and generated the offer), would be of Tiano showing more arm power... can you confirm this?

I don't know what film Coach Coley got, but Nick can make the soft finesse throws, the 15-20 yard laser, throw across the field and down on a rope, and he can hit his receiver in stride as deep as needed. The kid knows how to use his whole body in his throws AND has the pure arm strength to make throws on the run or under pressure. This is in no way any type of comparison... he's built like Marino, so you're not going to see him running much. He is mobile in the pocket. He'll put the ball where it's supposed to be with the velocity it's supposed to have.
 
BrazilCane - I'll let you know how the visit goes. He knows that I'm 90 minutes away so he'll have a home away from home where he can hang out, have his laundry done, & get a home cooked meal. He said that means a lot to him, so we'll see. His parents know I'll keep an eye on him - I see patients in Miami at least 2 weeks a month. If his dad doesn't buy a condo in Miami, they know they can stay with me and my family. I'll post something on the 22nd or 23rd after the visit.
 
Seems like he is really pushing for that home state offer from Tenn based on this article, which is understandable.

The best thing about this kid's game to me is that he is a cerebral qb with the above average arm strength to manage the game. Its been a while since we have had a QB that can pick a part a defense and this kid wouldn't be that put off by waiting his turn on the depth chart from what I have read.

Actually Bama has a Clinical Psychologist on staff to evaluate all the players and find out what their buttons are to motivate them from a personal level. Saban is an evil genius that way and Al Golden should steal a page from his book, heck Jimbo Fisher did an hired the same guy (Trevor Moawad) at FSU.

in his interview he really didnt sound excited about Miami, so he may want that Tenn or WVU bad

Praying for great weather and safe travel for Nick and family this weekend. He's excited about the trip and his Official Visit. Is there any way we can centralize the hottest and smartest girls on campus to be wherever he's going to be? I'll update as I can.

Weather looks like it'll be in the low/mid 80's with a southwest breeze. Perfection. Hope the kid has a great visit. Keep the updates comin' Doc!

Not getting my hopes up but the more I watch him the more I like him. Are we still his only offer(sorry if it has been said of other offers in the thread).
 
Morris was injured most of the year last year and lets not forget coming into his senior year people and scouts in the NFL were raving over Morris
