17 and counting

Final class:
Qb-Weldon, perry
Rb-burns
Wr-dingle, Dallas, Harley
Wr/te-njoku
Te-polendy
Ol-Donaldson, dykstra, Hillary, and Haynes
P-feagles

Dt-ford
De-Johnson and Jordan wright

Lb-steed and Jennings

Cb-Henderson, Edwards, bandy, dean (juco)
S-Gibson, carter

That would be very underwhelming

Actually, it would be a very strong class. I'd hope we could add an impact RB (McFarland or Felix) and WR (Jeudy, Smith, et al) to that group. But other than that, it's a **** good group. Peoples' expectations for recruiting get out of whack. That class like has 2-4 guys who will be top 100. When have we ever gotten 5+ top 100 players? Not even our best classes in the late 90s had that.

im looking for a weak spot in that class, and i cant find one.

maybe add Felix to make it 25. if Burns is our only RB, id give Henderson a shot at RB first when he enrolls and go from there. if no Jeudy, i think we hold onto Scott at WR. id personally replace jennings with V miller.

In Order of Likelihood:

1. Trajan Bandy
2. Amari Carter
3. DJ Johnson
4. Sean Davis or Latavious Brini or Marco Wilson (prob only get 1)
5. Darrian Felix or Anthony Mcfarland (Bentavious dropped)
6. Bradley Jennings or Wilder (prob only get/take 1)
7. Mike Harley or Devanta Smith (If Smith Goes to Bama, I think we take Harley) (Scott dropped)
8. Jerry Jeudy
9. Leatherwood or Hayes or Telfort (prob only get 1)

We keep assuming Richt would drop someone he took a commitment from. He has publicly said he doesn't work that way, and with that said would hurt his credibility by doing Scott like that. Scott is in unless he wants out.

Marco's coming. He and his Dad got that loving feeling back after hanging out with the all star Canes this past weekend.

Mark my words! No inside info, just based on his quotes afterwards.

Big bro is wishing this staff was in place when he made his decision to the Gaytes!

It would be an okay class that would probably rank around15-20, solid but not enough to close the gap with Clemson and FSU let to keep up. Also just based on the Rivals era, didn't check scout, we had 5 or more top 100 guys in 02,03,04,05 and 08. Also the narrative is our great classes of the late 90s and very early 2000s were filled with 2 and 3 stars is just not true. Those classes were mega loaded. We may have never gotten the #1 class but they were loaded. DJ was the unanimous #1 player coming out his year. Wilfork, Dre, Willis Geathers and Sands were all top players nationally not to mention others like Sikes Rolle Blades and countless others were Parade All Americans. That class listed would be underwhelming plain and simple. That is an Al Golden type class.
