12:30 press conference notes (D'onofrio staying)

Year four is when everything normally clicks under Golden. At this point, he's on borrowed time. For his sake and our sanity let's hope that it all comes together. Increase the Ws, keep recruiting, develop the talent and develop depth!

Sounds like he's done with "taking care of seniors". I suspect there are going to be a lot more young guys out there and the mediocre upper classmen will be on the bench.

Not all. I do not blame him for that first class, that was on Shannon and the disgraceful way he left the program bare. 4 Commits to work with is what AG walked into.

In any case, I wasnt making any statement about his players or not, simply discussing that he certainly played a lot of guys this year that really were not even remotely worthy of being starters here.

Can't see the forest for the trees. Big thing is our defense stinks. Can't cover, can't tackle, can't get near ballcarrier, can't stop anybody, can't slow anybody down. Those are the big things. Now the little things, we made scored 5 defensive TDs in a year. That is great if we were not giving up the more than that EVERY game. A little like, oh I saved $5 with coupons at Publix: let's go buy a new car!
 
He was never "offered" the PSU job.

They had an verbal agreement in principle......someone backed out. I think ti was Penn State.

He can't deny that he interviewed for the job.

Beat writers have a weird line they have to toe. They have to get their questions answered every day, so they can't be truly objective (it will **** the people they have to cover off and possibly jeopardize their ability to further do their job) and they have to beat around the bush when the guy clearly doesn't want to answer a question. Just flat out asking uncomfortable questions isn't usually in their best long term interest.

he answered it with joe rose. he didnt deny he the committee flew down. basically, said he was talking to recruits and he thought the rumors would pass by monday. when they didnt ,he put out statement. brought up last year he was believed to go to tenn

That's crazy talk. You must be a Golden slurper and evil human being. F*ck all this "hoping for the best" sh*t. The only correct answer is to hope AG fails and that we lose every game next year, that's what a "real fan" should be hoping for now, so we can Hire Butch, and Petrino, and Dorsey, and Kevin Patrick and Orgeron and the coaching dream team that is going to deliver us 6 MNCs.

I don't think Ferman is off as some of u think. Silence is Golden and telling. He was gonna leave. F this dude man. He getn fired or resigning after FSU curb stomp us for 5 season in a row and 4th under Golden. Right infront of our fans like Shannon. Mark it down
