Coker is by far the worst hire in the past 20 years. He took control over the greatest program at the time and ran it into the ground in a flash. There was no reason why he couldn't have the pick of the litter in recruiting and yet he failed to even leave a glimpse of talent.

This program shouldn't have been cheap in the 1st place or took it's que from players on the team for 1 National Title. The hire that should've been made was made, what 15 years too late. Richt should've been hired over clappy and this program would've never stumble so far into oblivion.

the **** are you talking about? he got a ton of good recruits but didn't have anyone to develop them.

richt was already hired at georgia (just had to coach the bowl game for fsu) by the time butch turned his back on the program.
