1/18/14 ALL-STAR GAMES (Now on ESPN2)

I know there are certain rules around defense, but watching this reminds me of donofrio's style. Soft zone and bull rush only.

I thought the exact same thing. That's really sad that our defense is essentially just a practice game level defense.

Hurns did have a nice pick off of a db on the touchdown drive. He's not playing bad but he's just not being thrown to. I'm specifically here for him so I've been watching him pretty tight and he's been open a ton.

Asante will prob never make in the NFL, and I know it's just this little "all-star" game, but he has been doing an excellent job run-blocking. He looks like he doesn't know what he's doing while he's blocking, but he's doing it and doing it well...

Oh wait, Chase Ford made it to the NFL and actually got on the field, too. Asante has a chance.

You forgot about our former kick returner, Gordon, who's still in the league albeit the 53rd guy on the team.
It's like that old lawyer joke, what do you call the guy who finished last in law school? A lawyer.

Same thing with the NFL. The last guy on the bench is still a professional. Lot better than being the 54th guy.

TD Asante. Nice catch, too. Love how that play was just drawn up vocally. not even a play call.

AND JEEBUS, he looks like he's 30.

Cleveland will be Golden's version of Jimmy Graham in the NFL

No he won't... Graham showed potential in his lone season at tight end.... We had plays drawn up for him... Whipple forgot about them around the 7th game... Cleveland showed potential his freshman year then disappeared until Pitt this year...

I think Hurns will be in the league a solid 6-9 years. He seems like one of the Canes that will be better as a pro.

so like everyone else then

Except for the fact that Hurns had one of the best seasons for a WR in Miami history. 62 receptions, 1162 yards, 6 TDs. But don't let those facts get in the way of any chance to slight a coach...

Whoa I'm not bashing any coaches or player's.

I just think he will become a better WR in the league. I could see him becoming a solid #2 WR in the league. I think he'll be a steal. I'm the biggest believer in Hurns' future potential.

So he'll be a better pro because he will be a solid #2 as opposed to, statistically, the third most prolific receiver in the history of our program? Your post seems like an unnecessary jab.

paid alot of attention to Asante Cleveland in this game...and dude was really BLOCKING hi *** off...funny considering i think he wasnt that good of an inline bloker here...but dude had a few legit "PANCAKES" that i got excited about...if he can do that he will get drafted and make an nfl team because of his size any way.

**** Michael Egnew is collecting checks in the nfl..and Chase Frd might be the # 2 te in Minn.
Good luck to the kid...
