“You spent “$20m” and went 10-2…”

20M seems like a lot...but with rule changes...its the bare minimum going forward.

Overachieving with hidden/unfound talent will always occur, just doubtful that happens at miami.

“Welcome to the big leagues of college football.

Now you know what the baseline is.

Sincerely,
The State of Texas”

PS: If you can’t handle this you’re not built to join the SEC or B1G.

Has revenue sharing taken place as part of NILs?

Don't kid yourselves. Revenue Sharing and Salary Cap are coming. So is a Players' Union.

The small schools have no Bag Game, but they do have Congressmen and Senators. There will be Congressional Oversight and Regulatory Intervention to "Protect The Student Athletes" (read: Protect the interests of the Networks and Big Conferences).

The DL was the most overrated position group I have seen in quite sometime at Miami. Yes I know Alston and Bain were hurt for some games. Mesidor was out of position all season, Barrow was probably the most consistent, Baron disappeared when the comp got better, Clark sucked.

The thing people also aren't getting is it's not like that $20M is exclusively guys we were going all in for this year. This wasn't $20M in the portal. This was a lot of money invested in the 24 class that was #4 class in the nation, and anyone expecting them all to be massive impact players day 1 was trippin. Idk how many times it needs to be said that HS recruiting classes make their largest impact 3 yrs later.

We didn't go the FSU route of just spending big for a 1yr return. We spent a lot out of HS for hopefully a more sustainable result. We probably spent more than we planned because we knew we but on Ward so tried to get last min mercenaries out of portal some of whom hit some not so much. But this has been a sustainable build and spend, not just throwing money out the window.

Ole Miss NIL was how much?

Ohio State?

I’m just taking the made up number CIS has been throwing around since Saturday.

College day has made several references to OSU claims they spent $20m on their years team.

Looking at the difference in roster depth and composition i find it hard to believe that Miami paid the same thing, but hey this is CIS don’t let facts get in the way.

We need to do better in how we eval guys though. Out of guys not named Cam or #6, how many NIL guys do you all believe REALLY hit it this year? And let's not bring up our CB/DB evals and recruiting.

Did Clark and Cook do anything for us all season? I feel like Deen and Gore were actually more productive for us last year than Clark and Cook have been this year, and they weren't good either.
