‘26 QB Dereon Coleman commits to Miami

Sounding like DC is more aggressively trying to flip VB3 than Mario.

DC believes there's a very good chance he flips.

"I'm in his [VB3's] ear EVERY day, EVERY SINGLE day about it [flipping to Miami]"
"Its a VERY high chance [he flips], especially with me being his QB. They [Miami] just needs to push to get him"

It’s rare to see a recruit with coattails like that. But Coleman may be one of those unicorns. Gotta hope UF gets annihilated these next few weeks and Napier is dead man walking.

Yea I don’t think Coleman ends up signing here he’s tiny we will recruit over him in the summer
In my opinion, this kid is big time. Big time big time.

Huge hands. All the arm talent you would ever need. On top of it he absolutely has the mindset to rip your heart out.

Whenever you compare two players it gets construed as one good and you hate the other one, but to me, Coleman is on a completely higher tier than Nickel, who I believe is more on the level of Emory.

It's just my evaluation, and it means nothing, but I value this player (Coleman) as a major recruit. The type you do what you need to do to keep them, type.

I am going off of memory here, but I felt like he was a bit mechanical. Super tall guy with a little athleticism. Decent arm. Didn't do anything at a level of starting Miami QB in my opinion.

I thought he was "fine" and has some tools to work with. Base gets off. Arm is fine. Tall and a frame.

I definitely remember that Danny liked him more than I did. If I remember right it was because of his basketball ability and liking some of his coordinated movements.

I'm hard on QB's and have generally panned Miami recruits at the position.

5'10 QBs have proven to be effective but only when surrounded by outstanding supporting casts.

I disagree I think we should be recruiting at a higher level at the qb position in high school. He’s physically small just don’t see him fitting the Mario qb prototype
