It would be a tall task to beat this Tenn team twice in a row, with a fresh bullpen and that lineup on any given weekend. But doing that with a taxed pitching staff? Good luck. Give me a Tenn/A&M final. I wanna see the two best teams going at it.

This was the best case scenario for whoever wins tonight. The team with a worse pitching staff won and 2 of their 3 reliable relievers threw 30 pitches.

Again I’m just so unimpressed with UVA every time I watch. 0 for life with RISP and left runners on 3rd with less than two outs multiple times. They’re just so good in the field and consistent on the mound that they never beat themselves and are in every game.

Oregon was on borrowed time. They got an easy regional and never stood a chance to win a series against A&M. The pitching depth beyond their top 2 starters is just not there. But either way, that was one of the worst coaching performances I’ve ever seen. At any level. Fireable offense.

Been saying for a while UF just needed their pitching to get figured out. It did, and now they’re here. When you stack that much talent, it’s hard to not be successful, eventually.

Guess I’ll have to remove my overrated tag from UVA. They’re solid to good at everything and so consistent they’re hard to beat. I just never come away from their games thinking that’s an elite or a top 5-10 team. Let’s see if they continue to prove me very wrong in Omaha.
