WR Isaiah Horton signs papers to enter Portal

Miami WR Isaiah Horton has signed the papers necessary to enter the Transfer Portal.

The 6’4, 205-pounder from Tennessee caught 56 passes for 616 yards and 5 TDs this season.

Miami is expected to continue discussions with Horton and other top WRs in the Portal.

This is college football today. This is exactly what everyone wanted when they said pay the kids and no restrictions on transfer. We are a well funded minor league.

This is the new normal and why paying kids buckets of money to sign will only increase ur salary cap because the vets want theirs too

Kind of why rookies have slot rates and caps on what they can make in rookie deals. Vets were ****ed first rounders were making so much more than them

There are several players on our team that may have expanded roles next year that will be asking for more money that aligns with the expanded role if they stay. That expanded role (starting job for some) is also an expectation with that increase in pay.

Horton isn't the only one, and I would expect most of these cases to be done behind the scenes...but this is the new reality of college football.
