Mario needs to make a big splash in talent acquisition over the next couple of months. The schedule next year starts tough right out of the gate and doesn’t get any easier as the weeks go on.
I haven’t done any research on who ND is losing or bringing in but that will be a tough one right out of the gate. Happy it’s in our building.
So if Nix does end up signing here, seems like we kind of have our answer about what’s happening with the defensive staff.
Might be why we’re not throwing big bags at true freshman who can’t contribute now .

He's a drag on recruiting. I'll simply say publicly what the AD and the HC probably know privately: Guidry has become toxic with regard to HS and Portal recruits. Why come play for Guidry when they can go play for Dan Lanning or, perish the thought, the newly invigorated Sunshine Billy up in Gainesville?

I completely agree, which is why Mario should cut him loose sooner rather than later. That, or an explicit promise to recruits that Guidry won't be the guy next year, and a proven B1G/SEC DC is taking over the role. Not very convincing though without something to point to.
I like what i see at Portal QB! Definitely think we'll be fine there. Moss, Salter, i like Jackson Arnold alot, Mensah, Fifita. Haven't seen some of them. Heard about em on cis. Looks like they played behind some bad olines. I wouldnt mind Mateer think he would ball here. Theres plenty to choose from looks like more upside guys this year

Definitely a dangerous game to play if you’re not retooling with young players also.

Listening to some dope on Canes insight . How did Mario manage a top 10 class after going 5-7. The board is filled with drama queens.
