Its recruiting it the way it goes, Lose some gain some . Mario can recruit period no need to worry.
Generally yes I would agree with you but this seems different to me. Stubbs and Nix are key players and Stubbs plays Safety a position of critical need. This can't just be spun if true. You think players don't watch this defense and think it's poorly coached? Mario needs to fight to keep them especially Stubbs if it isn't too late. Then he needs to gut the entire defensive staff.

Aside from the top two it will be whomever a team falls in love with...

Sanders
Ward
Beck
Ewers
McCord
Allar
Milroe
Nuss

Stubbs is a money issue. Nix is the one worried about staff

Talk about upgrading athleticism at LB. But I listen to Cover 3 podcast and I can’t remember who but one argued that he was downright bad and shouldn’t be on the field this year.

Went down pretty early with injury, was at the game against UCLA it was sad. Hopefully he recovers and bounces back, I'd take a flyer on him can't be any worst than what we have.

I don’t understand why Nuss would enter portal and leave LSU/system he has been in even if he didn’t declare for NFL?
If he doesn't go to the NFL

He's losing his 2 OTs from an OL that already wasn't producing. No run game at all. Losing his top WR from a unit that lacked playmakers.

Basically all of the same exact reasons Cam came back plus he lacks overall experience compared to most of the QBs in the class.

I still think it’s longshot, but 🤷🏾‍♂️.

It's actually a viable pitch, especially considering the NFL's apparent emphasis on collegiate experience vs. 1-year starters at QB.

Nussmeier's three-game stretch against Texas A&M, Alabama, and Florida in the second half of the year really derailed the hype he was generating as a prospect up to that point. If he bets on himself and ends up at an optimal landing spot, he could certainly increase his stock compared to where it currently stands.

He's pretty much a statue in the pocket, which could have its drawbacks if we plan to trot out Bell as a full-time starter at LT next year. But he's a gunslinger and aggressive downfield thrower with similar turnover concerns as Cam had before coming to Miami, so there's plenty of upside for him and us if he can refine his talents in a more beneficial situation.

That's with Bell, as is, he will most likely improve
