Peter Ariz any updates on whether Collier is getting an offer or not?

You must not pay attention. We took Smith instead of him and collier committed to UCF right after

You guys are comparing ward and randle el to this kid? I know your comments refer to the possibility of learning to run routes but man alive, just stop.

As for Allen - he's a borderline taken because he just seems to lack wiggle out there. I'd take a flyer on him just on speed alone. I don't see any track times on him - anyone know? And IMO, a kid with limited wiggle will have a hard time being a good route runner In college. Those guys - ward, et al, all had great open field wiggle and presence.

Seriously, that's all we were talking about was taking a shot on this guy because of the speed and our need for speed. Look at the craziness it degenenerated into.

I only respond when provoked...sorry RVACane and everybody

Come on man... It's all good. No need to apologize to me. I'm only suggesting we use a scholly and, as AUcane put it, take a flyer on a guy with blazing speed.

I'm sure Holmes has developed since high school, but his senior tape is pedestrian as ****. Pass.

I didn't love Holmes then and I couldn't give a shot about him now. Gotta be a better receiver looking to grad transfer. Bama found kids from Oregon State and Bowling Green, and they were very productive. Would rather a one year rental if it's just a possession guy we're looking for.

Anyone with speed could turn into Hester. Anyone with $2 can turn into a multimillionaire by playing powerball.

Anyone want to take this kid with speed for a long shot at a great retuner?

Save the spot

that's what coaching is for..

You don't teach a kid to run routes at this point...you refine technique and then add on with giving them option routes to run.

A Kidd who only runs 2 routes and was taught the simplest of screen plays doesn't belong in high level P5 football no matter how fast

Go watch Mike Harley's tape and then watch his, You'll see a huge difference between him and Quantino

BS.

There's former HS QUARTERBACKS playing WR all over college football.

Guess where they learned to run routes..

You mean like Torrance who was RS and moved to receiver and spent a whole year learning receiver lol

One shirt doesn't everyone and I don't think you can make a general assumption about all athletes based on Torrance Gibson. There are plenty of former QBs playing WR in the NFL. Terrell Pryor is one that comes to mind of late.

Julian Edelman too. Its not uncommon. Most players coming into college have to learn how to proper run routes anyway. Talent is talent you still take them.

Kuligowski will get us the DT from Virginia which will be a big add.

The staff will find another WR; there are lots of them out there....

Absolutely horrendous not getting any wideouts the stafff is simply not good enough

One guy not mentioned in the update is Edwards the DB.

I've mentioned him in multiple updates recently, just not much movement there. It's big that Miami gets him to visit on the final weekend before NSD.

Any concerns with him not visiting?

He has an official visit scheduled to Miami for the final weekend before NSD

TOS just posted an interview with Edwards and he's saying he won't OV to Miami. Going to visit UF that last weekend instead. If true, got to think our chances are slim to none.

Not sure how much I trust these other sites but with that being said, I have a strange feeling Edwards won't be a cane.

He has to be the slowest 4.4 guy ever.

Anyone getting sick of the coaches using the weather to recruit give it up its stupid

Interesting piece about potential grad transfer WR Corey Holmes is that his dead pushed him to ND, so I wonder if he was ever really happy at ND which could have affected his performance on the Field. Hence his rush to graduate in 3 years and transfer with 2 years remaining.
